Very Bad Sound Problem

Since it is in my bedroom, I do not use it as much. The picture is good but the sound is a problem. After about 20 to 30 minutes, the sound goes out. I have to switch channels to get back the sound. I am very disappointed. Also, Best Buy does not back it up.

Smart Apps cover all the standard services. Replacing similar Samsung whose power supply died: we’ll see how this one performs.

Okay but not remote is not user-friendly

Menu comes up with a bunch of apps not interested in.

There are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences. Change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
You can customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.

Remote sucks

I thought HDR was standard nowadays but I guess not. Also it has 3 HDMI ports which was great for having all my gaming consoles hooked up at the same time. Also the remote sucks. It just isn't intuitive. Why not just add two more buttons for volume and channel instead of switches? This is a remote not a game controller!

Thank you for choosing the 2021 AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your thoughts regarding the remote. Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.
To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the AU8000 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the AU8000 TV under Crystal UHD TVs > A Model Lineup to download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.
