My older Samsung (2016) had a more vivid picture out of the box. This took some tweaking of the settings but now the pictures in the two are about the same. With any entry level TV the sound is subpar. Don't like the One remote for all BS, not easy to use, Setting up universal remote solved that. If I were to buy again I'd spend the extra and go with a Qt80

There are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal sound preferences.
Change the Sound Mode by going to: Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You can also customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings
Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backwards facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu, pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.
