Great picture but the floor representative said I could connect to my DVD player and that was not true. No component connections are available on that model tv. Only DMI. The employee admitted he was not an expert. I had already begun the unpack and install when this was realized, so I did not return the product. Looking for a replacement that accepts component DVD player.

Tired of Unplugging

However, I have been using it less than a week and I've had to unplug it twice and leave it unplugged for 60 seconds to get the picture to come back on. There is sound but no picture. It's evidently a common occurrence for Samsung tv's because I found the fix on YouTube. I sure hope this isn't something I am going to have to continue doing regularly.

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation.
2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
