    Stay away! Samsung isn't what they used to be! TV was great before it went dark and no sound (except for being a Smart TV...spies on everything you do).

    Should have gotten the warranty

    I’m really disappointed. I just bought this 3 months ago and the volume is already shot. Crackling at any volume over 12. I should have gotten the warranty.

    Horrible don’t buy. Couldn’t pass the download section from the set up… Best Buy take this tv down

    Received product with a damaged screen. Clerk refused to credit or replace and claimed it was damaged by customer

      We appreciate you sharing your delivery experience and that your TV exhibited damage upon opening and setup. Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation – laid on its side or tilted – during transit, damage could have been done.

    They never fix my problem with my credit card I call my center and nothing they said they don’t know what happened

    This was a gift, this is my 3rd smart tv the other two, from Best Buy was a Toshiba and Insigna both with back lighting problems, these cheap tv's are JUNK, but this was a gift, the picture quality is excellent, the problem with it is the ridiculous REMOTE so I use my Pioneer receiver remote, the volume control doesn't work, had the same thing with another samsung I had for 18 years.

    Intrusive and complicated

    Starting up this TV took me down an IT rabbit hole for about 2 hours. Yes, I’m a geezer but turning on a TV for the first time should not be this complicated! To use the “smart” features (link to Netflix, Prime, etc) Samsung demands personal identifying information including date of birth! The box has a warning about this, but who reads the fine print in the store? Once you’ve got it home, unpacked and installed in place of the old one, you can’t say no. The remote has so few buttons and no manual. I’m guessing and experimenting what and how long to press to get what I want. No optical connection for sound system, must use HDMI/ARC, leaving only two HDMIs for other devices. The picture is excellent, but the experience is exasperating!

      Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

      1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.

      2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.

      3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

      Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

    Great TV... Horrible legs

    The TV itself is decent. I tend to pay a bit extra for Samsung products. I had just purchased this TV a few hours ago, and when setting up the legs, it was clear they weren't very stable. I followed the instructions and have a general understanding od their products. Right when I set the TV on my stand, it just fell forward and broke before I could even turn it on. Again the TV itself from what I saw in the undamaged corner looked great but horrible legs. This could have been avoided with standard legs

Your TV stand was solidly designed and extensively tested for stability; however, it’s quite possible that the stand may have been improperly installed. For instance, each leg, labeled “L” (Left) or “R” (Right), has a dedicated placement side. When the legs are inserted correctly, you’ll hear a slight “click” when they’re in place.
