Customers admire the Hisense TV for its exceptional picture quality, easy setup process, and reasonable price point. Many users have praised the TV's size as being just right for smaller spaces like bedrooms. While some users have experienced minor issues with the remote control, durability, power, and short lifespan, the overall positive feedback suggests that the Hisense TV offers great value for its price.

    Supports 2.4GHz wifi only

This TV supports only 2.4 GHz and therefore it does not detect my 5GHz home wifi. At 2.4GHz wifi, the streaming of 4K videos is very slow. If you are o.k with LAN connection you should buy this otherwise not.

      Nitul:

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 43” NU6900 4K Smart TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing WiFi connection issues.

Your router location and distance from the TV are important considerations -- having them both on the same floor with minimal interference blocking the signal (like a wall, etc.) will improve connection. You may also want to try wired LAN, if possible, since the connection will be faster and more reliable.

Dead display less than 2 years later

Like many others, I bought this TV during Black Friday in November 2018. I have been purchasing Samsung TVs since the early 2000s, and have been incredibly loyal to them for their great quality, cutting edge features, and long lasting displays. The issue started shortly after purchasing, which should have been the red flag to return it. The display would intermittently flicker. I recorded it and sent it to Samsung and they asked me to do a bunch of stuff that didn't work to fix it. It got worse over time, with pieces of the panel flickering for minutes at a time. Then this morning the display cut out entirely. I can see the entire TV has power as the HDMI ports are still functional, and the IR sensor is lit up and responsive - but the display won't come on at all. I reached out to Samsung directly (again) and was put on the chat with "an expert" who asked me to do the same things again. How useless. Granted this TV is now out of circulation given that it's 2021, but I am now hesitant about buying another Samsung, and worry that my brand new $800 one in the living room will have a shorter life as well. Why can't they just build stuff to last? How wasteful! PS - this def sounds like a "known issue". Search the reviews for black screen and you'll see dozens reporting nearly identical issues. Disappointed.

But not amazing. The series 7 TV I bought for another room I significantly better. This is fine for a spare room or work out room, but the series 7 is the best one I've had yet.

I was satisfied because it is compatible with a lot of disability equipment. I was disappointed that it was not compatible with my recently purchased Echo Dot and Harmony Hub.

We have (5) Samsung TVs and this last bedroom model was a disappointment. Only a couple of ports and a little to stripped down for the money. The worse part is they limit the number of apps you can download and they only let you download the apps they suggest. Really irritating and deceptive. Plus they allow small ADV adds and promos in the menu section just to annoy you. They even do that on our new 65" model. We will not replace a TV with another Samsung in the future - ever

Really solid tv...when you are directly facing it. However, there are glaring picture issues when you view it from a side angle which is why it was returned.

I thought samsung was a reputable brand. Heres what you get for the price you pay for this tv. - a laggy menu, with an average of one second delay between button press and action - slow, low quality apps, that seldom work. - preinstalled apps that are impossible to remove even if you never use them. AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE - the menus have ads and “promoted content” that cannot be removed. This is unacceptable and impedes the performance and use of the TV.

I had this tv for 19 days before the picture started flickering on and off. When I contacted Best Buy, they informed me that since it’s been over 15 DAYS, I would have to reach out to the manufacturer. Long story short, they sent out a completely incompetent “Samsung authorized” service company. TWICE. With no luck. It has now been a month since this nightmare began and Samsung basically told me it’s the service company’s problem now, the company doesn’t care, and I still have a broken TV. Yay.

I bough this TV because it reviewed well in Consumer Reports. In action this TV is a terrible performer. The sound is tinny (sounds like a TV from the 80s). When I select channel guide it intermittently pauses OTA live TV as though overloading the processor (I've never seen this problem on any other TV). Thirdly, the software that runs Sling frequently hangs and locks up the TV requiring hard off/on cycle to clear (almost like Microsoft, maybe that's where they hired their programmers). I would not recommend this TV to anyone at any price.

This TV was purchased around Xmas time so the special on this is why I purchased it...I regret doing so. I would love to return it for something of better quality. The picture is fine, no problems there but the sound is horrible. Tried checking out all options with the sound but still sounds bad, like it’s muffled. I bought two TVs and I’m having the same trouble with both.

I'll start this by stating I have been a big supporter of Samsung over the years... 2 large (50"+) HD tvs one of which will still works great and has been used constantly. mutliple phones + tablets, surround sound systems etc.... This, however was garbage. I bought it was some tax $ in late February, even opted for this over a cheaper brand that was actually a little bigger because of previous Samsung experiences. initial thoughts were the UI (menus/etc) were a little slow to respond which was annoying but not a deal breaker, but I soon had mutliple issues w/wifi connection coming and going. My router is maybe 30ft away and my wifi in the same room on my phone was pulling 350Mbs.. w/ great signal and 0 packet loss. it would work great at times, but was a headache when it wouldn't. My main issue however came one night as I was pulling up an app to stream (was either Hulu or Netflix) the tv froze up and wouldn't respond to anything including the phyiscal power button on the tv. I ended up having to unplug it from the outlet... I left it sitting for 30/40min and plugged it back up. TV will not power on, no flicker of lights, no screen coming on, no sounds no anything. even tried the "reset" that Ive seen other post on similar issues, but to no avail, its essentially a brick.
