It worked for 2 weeks, then it just stopped receiving WiFi. No Hulu, no Netflix. Everything else connected to WiFi works fine, it's just this TV. I restarted the modem, tried changing the settings on TV, finally resetting it, but none of that worked. According to one result on Google, I may have to download Samsung firmware(almost 1GB) to fix this via thumbdrive. Unless your hobby is to troubleshoot something like this, I would recommend going with another TV. Now we got that out of the way, I think the picture's pretty good. For films, you may have to go into "Expert Setting" to turn off Auto Motion Plus. Otherwise, picture quality looks too sharp & shiny like BBC or documentary films. Sound quality is terrible. Nothing new there on flat panel TVs, they are all like that. I'm not a fan of the connection panel at the back of the TV. HDMI plugs(only two available) were so close together, I couldn't connect Amazon Fire Stick(large diameter). I didn't mind this that much until my Samsung TV WiFi decided to stop working. I could have used Amazon Fire Stick to watch Netflix/Hulu. For me personally, remote is hard to use. Directional buttons(up/down/left/right) are sloped down toward the "enter" button in the center & it feels really awkward to use for me. Other than the WiFi going out completely, no major issues. For the price, I was happy to get this TV with 120Hz for under $300 on Black Friday. I already threw away the box, so I can't return it. I hope this 1GB firmware will remedy my WiFi, but I have to go out & buy a thumbdrive first, since the WiFi is dead.

Decided to finally upgrade my 32" 720p sharp TV in my bed room for this 43" 4k Samsung TV and am very happy with the purchase. Clear picture, vibrant colors, and good speakers. Ambient light detection on the TV seems to dim the screen a little to much by default so I recommend turned up the minimum brightness if you keep that feature on and turn off "motion lighting".

I have had this TV for a month, and initially I was skeptical with the picture quality. In a black background with a specific setting (dynamic, color tone cool) there would be this uneven clouding/flickering that was visible especially from an angle up close. I contacted Samsung directly and they said this is most likely normal, and getting it exchanged will not fix it. This was my first qualm. Second was the scarcity of the HDMI and USB ports, and finally, the lack of RCA analog outputs. I had an older DVD 5.1 home theater system that did not have an Optical IN, only analog ports. For all this reason I was leaning towards the LG equivalent of this TV; it had more HDMI/USB ports, and analog output so I could use the home theater. Unfortunately LG arrived with a cracked screen so I was never able to test it out. In the end I decided to return the LG (the build quality to me looked cheaper than Samsung's, and it was not as sleek and thin), and exchange the Samsung hoping the the issue I had was an isolated one. Everything worked out in the end. After the exchange I noticed the clouding/flickering was gone! Also, I found an Optical out/Analog in converter (relatively cheap), that I used to connect my DVD home theater setup. Subwoofer and speakers worked flawlessly! I should point out that it will convert the audio to a 2 channel, which is fine because you are now able to salvage the old system you have, which will in a way work like a soundbar with subwoofer. To conclude, if anyone wants to hook up their older home theater system, keep in mind this TV has an Optical OUT port, and if your home theater system does not have Optical IN, get a cheap optical to analog converter and enjoy the stereo sound. I am very pleased with this TV, and its quality and build.

TV is nice and the picture quality is also good. But only thing i did not like is SMART HUB comes with around 10+ pre-installed apps. Most of the apps is paid and i did not require that apps. I am not able to delete the app. Samsung should consider that the TV should be customer friendly to customize the TV. I hope in future updates they will provide an option to delete the pre-installed apps. Some of the apps which is available in store is not available to download on TV. Due to this i need to purchase firestick. Please help me to install the below app https://www.samsung.com/us/appstore/app/G17121009743

Great sound & picture 4k. But after 4 yrs. It stopped functioning. I went thru the flickering & unplugging & still will not start. I have a 32 inch non 4k Samsung that still goes strong.

Pretty basic set-up for us, using an HDMI cable from the xfinity box to the TV. Wasn't interested in trying to connect to our wifi since we really don't stream on TV. Picture is about equal to our older 1080p set, UNTIL you start watching 4K UHD shows/movies. The 2160p provides incredible clarity, far beyond what I was expecting. The TV senses the resolution from the source, so you don't need to adjust anything. If your intent is to just watch TV and movies, I strongly recommend this TV; can't comment on gaming or streaming content from other sources.
