No jack for earphones, never assume anything.

There isn't one. I've owned many flat screen TV's and NEVER expected NO ANALOG jack. There is a Digital sound output jack (LED) and could use it IF I purchase a Digital to Analog converter but then NO SPEAKERS. Price was "cheap" for a 43" TV from Samsung,, but there are cheaper units with more features from other mfgs. Wonder what Samsung saved by eliminative the 3.5 output jack,,, one dollar? Must be a unit sold for bars and or waiting areas? A + for best buy but a (-) for Samsung.
