Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were happy with this tv for 2 years then it developed wide dark veritcal band across the screen and bright spots across the bottome of the screen. I contacted Samsung support and they wanted to send a technican out to repair, but I was going to have to pay for the repair. I have Sony that is 10 years old and still looks great. I will no longer buy any Samsung products. For the price I expected it last longer than 2 years.

Samsung 4K smart TV

I had a 40 inch Toshiba 1080 that I was looking to up grade , so looking around I saw this 43 Samsung 2160p 4K smart tv , and everything was right about this TV the size, the picture , the make, and the price... Read the reviews before buying it , and was skeptical , but took the plunge... the one thing I found was that I used the expert settings , and the picture looks mint... even using my old DVD player with movies ... makes them look good...

Lemon again

Samsung service confirmed the problem. I returned it and got another. Same problem all over again. Samsung tech tried hard and confirmed the TV is faulty. Now I have travel over 100 miles again just to return this turkey. Samsung and Best buy, you owe me.

If you have not returned the TV, please try these quick tips:
To ensure proper connection, the sound bar has to be in the right mode, which is D-In.
If the soundbar supports ARC, you will have to connect the TV to the soundbar via HDMI3 only and have the CEC on for both the TV and the soundbar.

Good picture but horrible support

Too green and horrible HDR performance

Obnoxious installers

Even though it was obvious that the President was very busy, installer constantly interrupted him by trying to engage in a conversation that the President did not want to have. Even though we paid to have the TV set up and connected, the installer said they were not qualified to do that. Will not be using your services again.

Less than a year needed repairs.

Less than a year from the date of purchase, all my ports stopped working and I had to replace the motherboard. Also has problems maintaining a wifi connection. Have to recently reestablish.

Bought this tv on 5/18/2018 not even 2yrs and the tv just stop working. Didn't buy the extended warranty didn't expect the tv to stop working before the 2yrs. I have other name brands tv at home that I had for years and they work perfectly fine. My first Samsung and last.

Do not buy

There is a lot of write ups online but we didn’t do research before we bought. Then Best Buy has a 15 day return policy but we were at 21 days so we could not return it. Samsung May take it back but sending it thru mail is a pain. Never again.

Disappointed with reflections of the screen

Replaced a 12-year old Samsung 40" LCD TV with this new TV. Never had this issue with the old one. Called Samsung Customer Service. They suggested a few setting changes then suggested I call the Geek Squad. No more Samsung products for me.

Disappointed with TV

Didn't last a month
