I liked the tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not too picky when it comes to picture quality so I can’t comment on it too much. To me it did it’s job, but after 4 years of use one of the backlights went out on me. Most likely due to keeping the tv on overnight while sleeping.

Setup issues, Auto motion plus
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV has a great picture, but out of the box a feature called Auto Motion Plus located in"expert picture settings" is activated. We found that it caused video to judder or be jerky on some programming. Just the opposite of what it is supposed to do.Fortunately we found how to turn it off. Samsung tech no help. Also the ambient light sensing had to be turned off as it would cause the picture to be too dark.

Weird noise

I am sorry that you are experiencing static noise issue with your NU7100 TV.
The following conditions can cause your TV's speakers to rattle, buzz, or hum:
- Loose or incorrectly connected cables
- Defective or broken cables
- A defective device connect to the TV (DVD Player, Game Console, etc...)
- A problem with the TV itself
To determine the cause of the issue, press the SOURCE button on the remote control to change to a different source.
If the rattling, buzzing, humming, or popping disappears after changing the source, then the problem is caused by the connected device or the cables. Disconnect the connecting cables from both the TV and the device, and then reconnect them. Ensure they are connected securely to the proper ports. If the problem persists, replace the cable or contact the device's manufacturer for further troubleshooting.
If the rattling, buzzing or humming continues after changing the source, then the problem is caused by the TV, and the TV must be repaired. Please reach out to us so that we can start troubleshooting or warranty service for you.

Internet function incompatible with 5 GHz router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After four frustrating calls with Samsung tech support (each 30 plus minutes long) I was told that the TV will only work with a single 2.4GHz dual band and will not work with a dual band router with 5GHz. My router is an Apple Airport Time Capsule. Samsung tech support was horrible. The first three advisors claimed it was an ISP problem....wrong. Unbelievable they work make such a limited TV.

Do not buy this TV !!

I’ve had this TV for just over two years and half of the screen went black on me for no reason. The TV was good until this happened. It seems I’m not the only one this has happened to. I’m disappointed in Samsung I have an older Vizio that still works great to this day that’s 8 years old not like this Samsung that stopped working randomly just after two years. I might not buy another Samsung TV again as I’ve seen online that it happens to other Samsung TVs.

Could not use headphones

I tried to connect my Sennheiser TR120 RF headphones with an optical Toslink and it wouldn't work, also I got a optical Bluetooth adapter and it was very hard to connect and the volume control would not work on the headphones. Also had to shut speaker off to connect to the adapter . RETURNED IT FOR AN LG for $100.00 less and everything works just fine.

Stone age wifi compatibility

I even set it on the same desk as my Nighthawk x 8 router and would not connect. Only worked when directly plugged into router via ethernet

Defective twice

Returned it and exhchanged for a new one and still same thing. Changed between receiver and Xbox and unplugged all HDMI and still doing it. Even have video of it. Not sure why Samsung has this issue but not sure I want another

Bad bad purchase
