      Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q7F. If the image feels overly harsh - especially in darker rooms - there are several settings you can adjust to improve your viewing experience.

      Start by changing the Picture Mode: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      We recommend trying one of the following:
      • Movie – Softer contrast and lower brightness, ideal for dark room viewing
      • Standard – Balanced for general everyday use
      • Filmmaker Mode – Provides a more natural, accurate picture as intended by content creators

      To further fine-tune, go to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. Here, you can manually adjust Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, and Contrast Enhancer (consider turning this off for a softer image).

      You may also want to review your TV’s energy-saving features, which can automatically affect brightness based on your environment: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving

      Lastly, ensure your TV has the latest firmware installed, as updates can improve picture performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

    All good, being 71 I had a little trouble with set up but all turned out ok as I am just not tech savvy so the TV was smarter than me!

    I am not a technology person. I hate that nothing comes with easy to read instructions on how the item works. This is the 1st time I purchased a "smart" TV. it's quite a change from my old TV, which was so much easier to use. I only have an antenna and have never had had cable or any streaming. The TV was easy to set up, but I had to have my neighbor's high school son come over to show me how to change channels and how to adjust the channels. I sure wish when I turn this "smart" TV on that it would automatically go to the last channel I was watching.

    This TV performs well, however, the remote control is quite sensitive. It was somewhat difficult to establish connection with our Netflix and Prime subscriptions.

    Very complicated unit. Require additional wiring for audio headphones. Controls require degree in quantum mechanics Not good for analog elders who graduate from college without laptops or computers or calculators

    The TV itself is great but the remote it comes with makes us regret the purchase entirely. Even after having it for over a month we struggle with using it.
