It has a digital tuner and you can receive all air channels that are available. Setup is extremely easy and simple to do it by yourself. You will appreciate the picture quality and sound features that are incorporated into this model and all at a very reasonable price.

First, let's ensure your firmware is up to date, as the most recent update helps with performance. To update your firmware, go to Settings > Support > Software Update. You can easily update from there if needed.
Next, you can adjust the sound settings to suit your personal sound preferences to tune the sound. You can change the Sound Mode by going to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode.
You can customize the sound with Expert Settings by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.

Picture is excellent, easy to connect all the smart features. I have all samsung(phone, tablet, tv) so easy to switch between for virtually anything, even dex

I purchased this tv to replace the old Vizio in my bedroom. I recently cut the cord for Cable so the Samsung Plus App with all the free channels that is built into the TV was a major incentive for me. The picture and sound quality is great and slim profile of the tv is also an added bonus!

The Samsung TV’s have their own lineup of streaming channels so that’s a bonus! It was basically a plug and watch tv!! It was super easy for my elderly, old school, mother to use. I did add a sound bar and that definitely helped my hard to hear mom.
