I do have a concern the sound will be lost with now warning. This has happened twice in the last week. I am waiting to see if it is a cable problem or a TV problem.

Much better than the Toshiba it replaced. It performs well in dark environments because of its good contrast, but it has only decent black uniformity. Sadly, it has narrow viewing angles.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your TU690T TV. In addition to the several picture modes on your TV, you may also want to try adjusting additional picture settings if your picture is not to your liking.
You can go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with functions such as Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Tint (G/R), and many more.

Arrived as promised in perfect condition and my friend said it’s performing quite well after I talked him through setting up on FaceTime. He’s very thankful I gifted it to him.

The colors began to slip so I decided I'd gift them a new TV.. The TV was on sale and everyone knows Samsung is the king of TV's

Using in a virtual pinball machine as the playfield screen. Added Sony bonus that it powers on when power it sensed on the power cord.
