Great TV

The remote doesn’t work for the most part. I have to have remotes. One to change the channels and one to turn it on and to control the volume. The picture is very dim. Also I have to shut th whole thing every once in a while because I can’t turn the cable on. It’s convoluted at best. I regret getting this TV but it’s a Samsung so I thought it would be good. Nope.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your TU690T TV remote. If you are attempting to control more than one device, you will want to ensure it is properly connected. To do so, connect an external device to the HDMI port of the TV and then power on the external device. Your TV will automatically recognize the device when connected through HDMI and will switch the output. If it doesn’t automatically detect, press Source and select Universal Remote to continue the setup process for the Universal Remote.

I don’t know what’s up with the speakers (too tiny or placed in bad area)?, but we’ll have to buy a sound bar because we have to turn the volume up pretty high to really hear….
