    Stay Away From ALL Samsung TVs

    The Tizen user interface for this Samsung TV is horrendous. It's a nightmare. My last TV was a 2016 Samsung 4K TV -- and it was pleasant to use everyday in every way. I told everyone I could that Samsung makes the best TV. This 2025 model has obliterated that opinion. Every single day I suffer through layers and layers of garbage and an endless barrage of ads. Making a simple change -- like to the brightness level -- requires so much time and energy because it's 1) sooo slow and 2) ridiculously not user friendly. I bought this TV because all the reviews are good. But look closely -- ALL THE REVIEWS WERE "INCENTIVIZED". 2016 Samsung 4k TV: Awesome experience 2025 Samsung 4K TV: Nightmare experience

    This Samsung tv was a recent purchase for bedroom viewing. The TV lives up to the Samsung name. Samsung has been my first choice for many years now.

    I bought this exact same tv for my daughter's room about 3-4 years ago. She doesn't live here and even with company it's probably been used maybe 3Xyr. The week of Christmas is just died and they're irreparable! I really didn't want to get the same one as I think that was a short life with little usage but it was the best deal and in stock. I certainly hope this one lasts longer

    This decent quality tv for the price/The only thing I didn't like was that the tv remote is way to small & basic.

    The audio and video quality are excellent. The user interface is not good at all. It's not well put together and slow.

    The picture quality is great, but the controller isn’t user friendly like my other fire tv

      Hi Marsha,

      Thank you for your feedback on the U8000F TV remote control. While the Solar Cell Remote may appear minimal, many buttons offer multiple or long-press functions to help simplify the design without sacrificing functionality. For example:

      • Settings/Number/Color: Allows you to easily access your TV's Quick Settings and input channel numbers.
      • Volume rocker: Push up/down to adjust volume. Press and release quickly to mute.
      • Long-press Volume button: Hold for more than 1 second to open Accessibility Shortcuts.
      • RETURN button: Press to go back to the previous menu or screen. While watching TV, it takes you back to the previous channel.

      These functions allow for a more streamlined experience without adding extra buttons.

      Learn TV Remote is a feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation.

      This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice.

    Everything about the tv is awesome minus the smart system. Not for me and will be a struggle for owners of the tv that are not tech software savvy. I suggest installation and setup for most customers!
