Nice picture but poor TV stand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE GOOD: With a little tweaking, this Samsung TV's contrast, color and brightness are much better than I expected. Off angle viewing (Not sitting at the perfect position ...) is incredible. The TV remote control functions and menu are intuitive. (I can't review sound since I didn't use built in speakers. Set-up is quick and easy. THE BAD: The supplied TV stand is very flimsy. It appears to be designed/engineered for a much lighter-smaller model. With the furnished TV stand assembled per directions, the TV will rock from side-to-side and front to back with the slightest push. In my opinion this is unit is WALL MOUNT ONLY for families with small children. (Think Kids ... if they can do it ... they will) THE MEDIOCRE: Credit Samsung for trying to fix the problem, but they responded to my complaint with an identical replacement of the same TV stand (Twice). I'm currently trying to re-engineer/design the stand so it doesn't have the same safety problems. I can't wall mount.

I was amazed at the picture quality and I find myself choosing this television for viewing over my 60 inch plasma in our living room. Great tv for the price and I would recommend this tv to others. It was very simple to set up also.
