My wife and bought the TV for her parents as a Xmas gift because their old Vizio TV had some issues and was old. They watch mostly old movies/TV shows and use Verizon FIOS TV service. We decided to forego a 4K TV because of price and having a specific size requirement. Setup was easy and hookup to the FIOS/DVD player was easy. The TV has HDMI and Component inputs. Once setup configuration with the FIOS remote was a snap. All in all I highly recommend this TV if you are looking for: -Something under 50" - 1080p - Non-Smart TV enabled - Great picture quality and color

The setup was easy. The picture is sharp & clear. Learning to use the features and settings didn't neccessitate calling in an expert. Pleased with my choice.

Great deal , extremely light so mounting on the wall was a breeze. The picture quality is great and there's enough connections for my other components.

This 48" Samsung was a replacement for my 46 inch model of the same Samsung TV that the screen went black and it stopped working less than one year after I purchased it. Thankfully, I purchased the geek squad five year service contract so that the 46 inch TV was replaced with this larger 48 inch model due to price difference changes within the year that I bought the first one. Fingers crossed this one continues working without issues. Just to be safe, I again purchased the Geek Squad 5 year extended warranty coverage.

Samsung has found the secret for picture quality! The sharpness and image contrast is excellent price range.

I had to replace a plasma tv. And then I saw this model. The price is great for this value added TV. Excellent picture for routine viewing or gaming

Great price, clear picture very slim too! I mounted this TV in my dining area and its big enough to be seen from multiple rooms, great for the money!

Ever since buying my first flat-screen, I've become a huge fan of the Samsung brand. Take a look at a store sometime and you'll notice a subtle feature about all samsung tvs. They don't reflect glare so much as other tvs. Vital for daytime movies or less than ideal tv placement. But like all flat screens these days, the sound quality isn't great. But the TV is a good price for its size and quality, so purchasing a sound bar won't break the bank.

I bought this as a gift for my mom they had an old tube tv that had a high pitch scream when it was on. Step dad was very impressed at how light it was. Both impressed with the quality. Only down fall for step dad was it doesn't go loud enough for him. But mom has no problem with this ;-)

Easy tv to set up , Nice picture ! I have always bought Sony products , But would have to say that this Samsung product is very comparable to Sony and couldn't beat the price !

Great picture and easy to use. The size is perfect. I had an old, very large TV before and was concerned about it being too small. Not to worry!

It was easy to install and sync up with my cable. Great picture. Not great sound. Needs a sound bar or speaker system. Then it's perfect.

i got this for a 2nd tv in the apartment. mostly to play games with my ps4 on. i like it alot. the only downfall i have of it (other then they told me its a SMART TV and its not,) is that you cant hit channel up on the remote to switch from an input to the tv. (i use an antenna)

Great picture and perfect size for what I needed. This is a good choice for someone who is not looking for all the "features" of a smart TV

The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is the TV speakers could be a bit better with sound quality and loudness . otherwise not one complaint

This set fills our family needs. The color resolution is amazing and it fits perfectly in a tight spot along a short wall. The kids love it for their gaming counsel and we all enjoy watching HD programs as well as local sports and news.

I currently had a 40 inch Samsung tv for the last 2 years which was great. I decided on getting a larger screen so I went for this Samsung after checking out other tv models. The picture is good and I had no problem setting up. The sensor for the remote is set back under the tv in front so you have to point it well in that direction. The sound is ok, but I do have a sound bar which helps due to speakers in rear of tv. This tv was a great deal for what I wanted to pay and I am satisfied with my purchase.

This television is the largest screen I've ever owned. I was pleasantly surprised at the size, and the quality was good of the picture. The sound isn't that great. It's not awful, but max volume isn't very loud.

Excellent TV for the price and the features provided. Picture quality is excellent . Simple to set up and use right out of the box
