I bought two of these. One for the game room and one for a bedroom. The size is great as I don't have to squint to see the picture. I am very happy with the purchase especially considering the price.

I traded in a Sharp 50" for this and I believe that the quality on the Samsung is much better than the Sharp. There was only a $20 difference so it made it an easy choice.

Love our new sansung 48 " TV and sound bar...the picture is great and the sound is so clear. The sales man at Best buy was very helpful and really knew his stuff.

I bought this tv as a gift for my father. It has a great picture. 4 stars because it lacks the bells and whistles of higher end tvs. It only has 2 HDMIs, for example. Otherwise great for the price.

Got this for my father in law. Now he doesn't complain that my TV is so much clearer than his old tube TV. He now enjoys watching his KC Royals and Chiefs much more.

I just replaced our old TV with this one and its slim and just looks good. I love the picture quality of this TV. Great purchase for the price during black Friday.

Brought this TV home, set it up, and was pretty disappointed. Great for the $400 price, but even at 7-10 feet away, the flickering, artifacting pixels were very evident. I worked to calibrate the picture for a while, but never got a really good result from the TV. Seemed pretty okay when playing video games, but the picture from the cable box, even at HD resolution, was terrible. Maybe it's the fault of my shady cable company's terrible signal overall - but it's something to be aware of. I returned this TV and purchased a 40" Samsung without any problems whatsoever. Trading down was 100% worth it for the boost in picture quality. Skip the 48" and wait until the ultra-HD stuff comes down in price at that scale/

Great but had trouble screwing stand completely flush. I believe screws were too short. But it works great. Sound is too low and you need to use your surround sound speakers to hear appropriately.

So far, this has been a great tv! It was easy to install and everything has gone great so far! Some reviews said the sound was bad but we haven't had any issues!

This tv replaced a 7 yr old flat screen tv that was double the price when I bought it. Outstanding picture. Wish it had more inputs, but for the price it's great

I received a promotional email regarding the Samsung TV and after I reviewed the product and reviews I thought of this a good deal and decided to purchase it.

I installed this television in my parents outdoor pavilion. Very clear picture and great features! Couldn't be happier with this unit, especially for the money!

A few years ago I bought a Samsung 46" LED TV and used it's internal speakers entirely. This sound was fairly good coming through the input of my TIVO (though the sound of movies on USB drives or DVD had to be cranked.) In the market for another one, they no longer made the 46" so I got the 48" TV. The internal speakers are worse than the 46", so I've ended up connecting the TV to my receiver directly with an optical cable and working with that (which was my intent all along, but I tried using the TV prior to using my receiver...). It could be the positioning of the 48" TV is not bouncing the sound out as well, but it was very very quiet -- even with the sound turned way up.

This product is reliable and performs very good. Great picture. The sound is ok; but could be better which is the only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating. This is a great product overall.

I purchased the flat screen tv and mounting hardware for my office. I needed to have 10-12 people at a time for training and this fit the bill. Easy to set up, easy to use and met the need.

I lookedat many many TV's at many different stores. Finally decided on thos Gem! Haven't learned everything about it yet butthe picture is wonderful! Vivid.
