This was bought for my grandmother. She needed a bigger screen. She loves it.

Nice clear t.v, I've seen smarter Samsung t.v's. It is worth what I paid though.

AMAZING COLOR!!! Love the features, don't need a Roku now :) Very pleased with this purchase and the size is perfect for my bedroom. Almost bought a sound bar, but for the room, I don't even need it. This tv really puts out in sound quality and volume level! I found pleasure with the picture/sound after changing the standard settings. At first I didn't have volume. But after making those adjustments and restarting the tv, volume is great. I like that the tv is silent on power on/off, and it automatically shuts off if you don't select a function. Even Netflix pauses to make sure you are still watching. I enjoy the energy conservation part. Bought a wall mount, but unless you have a brick or concrete wall, it's unable to be used, so I have to return the mount. Great tv, and my 40" in living room is just as wonderful!!

Given the price this is the best Smart HD tv you can buy without spending a lot of money. For less than $400 this is a fabulous tv as it comes with 1 USB port, 2 HDMI ports which work flawlessly. I have connected my Xbox One 1TB with this and it works smoothly. I was also able to use an USB drive of 1TB and there was no performance lag whatsoever. I was also able to view the photos from USB drive. The display is crisp. Overall I would recommend this TV to anyone who wants a HDTV with amazing picture and sound, smart features and reasonable price.

We needed to replace a 40" Sharp that had been fried during a summer thunderstorm while we were away. (The surge came through the cable TV hookup, bypassing our surge protector into which the TV was plugged.) The picture on the new Samsung is markedly better than that on the Sharp. However, this is advertised as a "Smart" TV, which enables you to receive Netflix, Acorn and similar services w/o a Roku box. It works BUT, we've found that if the TV has not been on for a while, it needs to warm up for about 15 minutes before you have a good Internet connection. If you try to get to the Internet too quickly, it will tell you the TV is being set up. A few minutes later and you may get video but only noise on the audio. We've also found that it does not remember what we've previously watched on Acorn, nor is it great at remembering watchlists.
