Samsung 48" TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to have this Samsung as it is supposed to be such a top brand for TVs. The biggest problem with it that I have encountered is the darkness of the picture. If it is a dark or night scene, it is almost a black screen with a flash of light now and then. I change the brightness and backlight settings over and over, but they don't hold for more than a few minutes. The sound is fair. I have to turn it way up for some shows. It gets 3 stars only because it was on sale so I got it or a decent price. For full price, no.

Smart TV at a Smart Price

Has all the Smart features built in and with great picture quality. Perfect for the basement which is where I spend a lot of time during the winter months tinkering. Wish the TV had more inputs and outputs that could accommodate RCA jacks for example but there are workarounds that I can use for that.

Tv is good not great

Alot of glare

A Bose sound system is hooked up, so not sure of TV's sound quality. This set replaced an old Insignia set, which had much less glare. This TV reflects even the dimmest light. I feel as if I am living in a cave as all blackout curtains are drawn and lights are off whenever anyone watches television. Yikes! For the price though, this is a good deal

Only 2 HDMI Ports
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good TV, but only has 2 HDMI ports and NO RCA ports. If you are planning on using Hi Def TV with a BluRay player and a video game, you will be short connections. Otherwise, its a good TV.
