    First off I believe I got a great deal this 48in for $279 ! Great purchase other than no ports on the back for say older gaming systems and such but other than that have to switch to HDMI everything but overall pretty good tv. Sound and picture is great!

    We have had a Samsung 42" plasma tv for the past 12 years. For a third of the original price, we stepped up to a slightly larger, lesser weight unit that provided more up to date features, clearer picture and better audio from a brand we trust.

    This TV was a great deal and I can see why it was a bargain. There's nothing special about it, picture is so-so for 1080p. There are only two HDMI ports and no component ports at all. I also have a Samsung blu-ray player which this TV keeps trying to turn on and connect to when I'm watching something else - such a pain.

    Did not really know what to expect. This was my first HD television purchase. I was truly surprised and pleased with the quality of the picture. However, I do wish that there were jacks on this television to connect some of my other electronics.

    Awesome Tv. I have had this for about 4 years now. Even though the newer Tv's have a lot of new features. The picture is still great. No issues or problems in the 4 years we have used it.
