We had one Samsung TV and decided to purchase the second one for our family room.

This was supposed to be an upgrade for our 2nd TV for the family, it wasn't too important to have all the bells and whistles however, we were disappointed it only had 2 HDMI connections which I did not even think about even after reading the reviews. After you connect your cable box and dvd player there are no other spots for AUX connections. My granddaughter has the first generation Wii and it uses the older style coxial cables. This TV has none to be found. I even tried to call Samsung support but they referred me to the internet. So, we resolved the connection of the Wii to the new Samsung TV with an adapter however you have to unplug something to play the Wii. Very disappointed with that.

I purchased this tv after extensive research. This is not a starter Smart tv.

I only own samsung flat panel tvs (5) they are simply the best in my opinion.

I love my new Samsung Smart TV. It works well. good reception. No complaints.

I had a gift card from a previous purchase, and I wanted to get a smart TV to update my old tube tv. I'm amazed at what I was missing out on. I'm still learning how to use everything, but this Samsung 48" was a purchase for myself, and I love it.

Good tv for the price I got have some issues with the apps though while casting.

Great quality picture. Pretty good smart features. ONly negative is that it takes a few minutes to establish the internet connection and prepare for streaming Netflix shows whenever you power it off and then back on. Otherwise, no problems.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it is great and looks great from 10+ feet away but had it in a living room right before I moved where we only sat about 8 feet away and got a lot of digital squares. Now sit about 12 feet away and it looks great!

this television is awesome.... it is everything you could ever want in a t .v.! it comes with everything you need and then some! the picture is awesome... the sound is darn near as good and the price is absolutely amazing for what you are getting!!!

The only reason I have not rated this TV higher is because I am experiencing software lag. I'll have instances where I press the remote, and it doesn't respond till a minute or more later. However, when it does work properly, it's an awesome TV. Samsung customer care has told me to hold out for the software update.

Bought this tv for our bedroom and am extremely happy with this purchase. The picture is outstanding without having to make any adjustments and the sound is good without the need of a sound bar. I have not tried the smart tv features yet.

Purchased this set as a replacement for our bedroom. Superb resolution and viewing angles from throughout the room. Easy setup and compatability with DirectTV whole home network. Excellent discount sale pricing that beat Amazon and Costco.

the first Samsung 48 inch was damaged, exchanged to BestBuy without any issues

If your looking for a tv that's under $400 I don't think you will find another one with a better picture. Just don't compare this to a 4K or OLED

This LED HDTV is awesome. I previously owned a 40'' Samsung and I wanted to replace it with a bigger one but not too big, so I went with this one. I like the picture quality and the sleek design. Would definitively recommend to everyone.
