This tv was great value for the price it looks great in my living room

I purchased this TV for my mother-in-law to replace her old console TV. It was very easy to setup and use.

It is unfortunate that Samsung discontinued the 6300 series which had twice the refresh rate. :)

I am not the type that normally writes reviews.But after purchasing and experiencing a ton of trouble with the Samsung TV,I thought I should warn others. At its best this is a seriously decificient product that should never have made it to the stores.There is a 10-15 seconds delay between when you press remote to when it responds.Netflix almost always never plays without freezing up every 10 seconds.I used a Roku box with the TV and it works fine but the Netflix in the Smarthub is a disaster. Sometimes, the remote simply refuse to work even with fresh batteries and within 7 feet to TV.I am going to to my 7 year old Toshiba TV

This unit was in stock at my local Best Buy, not the unit I wanted, but it is a Samsung and it worked better with all the cell phones in the house! (The Smart View application from the cell phone to mirror on the TV) I spent the extra money and so far it is a great TV.

This TV is great. Helped my grandparents buy this and they use it without all the additional SmartTV options. Quality of picture and price were the deciding factors.

Not too bad for the price paid. We actually enjoy this TV enough to purchase another one in the near future.

I loved this TV and that's why I purchased it. But since the day i bought the TV, the smart hub has never worked. One day i can watch Netflix just fine and the next day I can't do anything. The smart hub section will not allow you to even search for other apps. Only what they offer. But I do have other smart tvs and that same options works just fine. I have been working with Samsung to fix this issue and they have been out to my house 4 times now. Last time they came by, they put a new motherbored in the TV because they said the TV is not working properly and the smart hub feature won't work. After putting the bore in, its still the same. Now I am stuck with a $500 smart TV that I can't even use nor can I return it. Not happy at all. Also, I hooked my Roku player up to it and it does not even work. So heads up on this tv!

I was on the fence as to whether or not to buy a Smart TV. We have satellite tv service which includes a Netflix channel, so we don't really need to stream a lot. We chose this Samsung tv because it seemed like such a deal. We've been working on trying to get Netflix to work for hours. We keep getting an error "Smart Hub is updating" on all the apps. We were able to access Youtube at first, but after a factory reset recommended by Samsung customer service on live chat, even Youtube gave us the error. Customer service claims they are working on it and the issue should be resolved in 24 hours. My husband spoke with customer service on the phone, and they said the department we needed was closed for the night and they would contact us tomorrow, but they did say that they are having a lot of people with the same problem. I cannot recommend this TV if you want to use the Smart functionality. We will likely end up returning it and getting a cheaper non-Smart TV.

We've been very happy with our Samsung smart TV. Other than typical cable use, we primarily use it for Netflix, Youtube and to stream athletic games by connecting through the ipad.

Great picture from any angle. Needed a great mid-size TV and the Samsung 48" had the best picture in its class. At this great sale price, I just couldn't pass it up.

We had this TV for 20 months when the LED strip panel went out without any warning. Samsung refused to do anything about it. Beautiful picture when it works - not so much when it doesn't.

Got this TV for $250 with the purchase of a cell phone. Grrat TV for the price, especially to be a secondary TV for office use.

I receive my TV Saturday I went to the store it was way cheaper then what is on line. This tv does need a sound bar but overall an great tv brought this tv at the price of $429 in store on sale. really wanted the 4k but for the price could not beat. Will come back an add a picture. I write a review because I like to be honest when people are buying things with there hard earn money.

for the price i paid and the amount of features backed in there this is a steal
