    The only issue I have so far with this Samsung 48'' SmartTV so far, the sound is not what I expected. With the volume up to 60, it's no where near as loud as the volume set at 18 on my old 19 inch Emerson tube. Other than that, I like my new purchase,

    great picture, great to have a guide even though we are over the air channels, but streaming constantly stopped to load or would only play 30 seconds and skip to next video. did not try to mess with it, just returned and will look for another deal on a similar TV. Great price when I bought it though.

    My first ever Samsung TV ... I bought a brand new 48-inch Samsung J5200 TV from our local Best Buy over the weekend. Brought it home, set it up, and there was a very annoying "stuck" pixel smack dab in the middle of the screen. This is NOT an acceptable defect when the panel IS the product. I'm going to return the TV in a couple of days and look at other brands.

    My advise is just stay away from this model. The TV's picture was so so and then when I attempted to use the "smart" apps everything came to life. This TV would lock up, Netflix would not work, and the Samsung support kept giving me the run around. Long story short, save yourself some time and buy a different model. The Best Buy store was very helpful with my return and I purchased a Vizio.

    Purchased a tv similar to this model a couple of months ago and I'm already seeing after images it is kind of annoying . What is really annoying is that the warranty doesn't cover burned in images should have stayed with Vizio.

      Image retention or "burn in" is typically not a covered damage that manufacturers will cover. While many of the retained image cases we see are temporary, it is possible to burn in permanently over long periods of use and time.

    The smart feature is awful on this tv. Very inconvenient to use. Navigation is cumbersome. We got this tv because samsung is the only quality tv with tw cable app capability but 3/4 of the time the voice does not match the picture so I'll probably end up buying a roku anyway. As a tv it's fine. Can't beat samsungs picture quality. Sony comes close and I may have gone with that had I known the Smart feature on this tv was so dumb!

    Loving the samsung TV. ive had it for 8 months now and haven't had any problems. Its a 48 inch smart tv. Only regret was maybe I shouldve went bigger

    The picture and sound are good but streaming videos using the built in apps is buggy. Sometimes the sound will cut out, the video will skip or it simply hangs up. This is with a 100 mbs internet service and the TV wired to my router. If using an external device, like Apple TV, then streaming videos using the same apps works fine. So the problem seems to be how the built in apps work (or don't) with the samsung system.

    I really like the tv but needs better speakers. I had to hook up my own speakers but now I'm very happy. I don't know much about all the cool things you can watch tho.

    I've had this tv for 1 day and it has stopped working, Netflix won't load, the stupid remote doesn't work, and I have to unplug the gd thing just to get it to turn off, really Samsung?

    I was very disappointed with my purchase, tv never worked good right after i plugged it started going off/on by itself, took it back to bestbuy ang got my money back

    Awful data transfer rate could not get above 15mbs wifi, 30mbs LAN Audio always lags on Netflix (wired) Video often drops to lowest resolution (potato) on wifi, unwatchable Forget about watching YouTube, slowest transfer rate EVER Menu takes long time to come up, always lags on Netflix/YouTube 1080p? ONLY IF YOU ARE LUCKY!!!! Must wait 1-2 minutes for 386 processor to kick in when first turned on (Netflix/YouTube) Passable on cable, but not Standard Definition Sound is OK, nothing special
