The only reason I give it 4 stars rather than 5 is the TV keeps coming on during the day to show the memo weather etc. It is only for 30 sec. but is annoying. I looked all over the web and the manual and can't find how to turn that feature off. Not sure if it is a feature or is a bug.

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the TV! The pop-up feature you’re seeing is called Daily Board. It uses motion detection or voice commands to show useful info like the weather and connected device status when the TV screen is off. To disable Daily Board, press the 123/Quick Settings button on your remote, go to Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Daily Board, then switch off any enabled options.

Everything good, except set up with multiple components vying for control. Even now, trying to change out AVR system is a taco short of a combo platter with cryptic comments that do NOT relate to whatever the problem is. I will beat the AI crap, though!

Thank you for your review. Anynet+ controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off. If you don’t want externally connected devices to turn on/off when you turn your TV on/off, please make sure Anynet+ is disabled. To turn off Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = OFF.
