Blinking Red Light Issues.. 3 years later!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Samsung girl for forever.. I have always enjoyed the sharp and crisp color! Now that I’m 3 yrs in with this model and now having blinking red light issues with no reset issue that will get my tv to work, Samsung will only send a tech for a hefty $150 plus cost of repairs! I am now rethinking whether LG would be better fit.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture of this tv. Save yourself $200 and get this tv instead of the Q6. Its ALMOST Identical. The menu is very hard to navigate do to the TV be a smart learning TV. Other then that its a great TV and a Great Price.

GREAT TV !
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV. Have had it 2.5 years. Great color great sound great connections. Except the remote - which I loved for how streamlined and simple it was. But 'it' would turn the TV on after I shut it off and left the room. Weird. After a year I bought a new Samsung remote, a model earlier with same buttons and voice mic but without the 3 dedicated streaming services buttons, which also had a mind of their own. All problems solved.

Don't buy Samsung - maintenance is expensive!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may have to buy a new TV because the remote broke. I purchased the TV in 2019. The TV itself is superb! Terrible are Customer Service, Accessory Product Management, and the monopoly and collusion of having only one authorized Samsung Parts Dealer in the United States, subject to the pricing and return policies. The Remote Control battery casing is not separated from the motherboard electronics. When the batteries died, they leaked on the electronics killing them. This is a design choice of the Samsung Accessories Business Unit to sell more parts and accessories. How much does a replacement remote cost through the only authorized dealer? $70 including shipping and tax. I received the new remote and it did not pair with the TV. Samsung Technical Support wanted me to unplug all the cables on my TV. My TV is in a wall unit. How do I access all those cables now ?! For a simple Remote Control issue. Unbelievably poor solution design. Once I pulled out all the cables, the customer service rep said to put back in the Cables into the right ports. Ugg... no flashlight to read the tiny writing that I can't read even with glasses on! The Customer Support said they are sending me a link to a Field Service Rep - that I would pay hourly for to reconnect the cables properly because the writing on the tags is too small to read properly. I asked the customer service rep to get out the schematics of the TV and count the ports and guide me to the right ports. He refused. Perhaps he didn't have access to the schematics - which he should have in his role!!!! It has been eight days without TV since this began. And Samsung will take no accountability for a poorly designed solution. Or fix it.
