Black blocks on Samsung TVs!!

They last forever and have excellent picture quality. The one we recently purchased for our living room has very odd black "blocks" that appear in it. We've tried everything, then I googled it and realized it's a thing. Others have tried to resolve it, unsuccessfully. It's an annoying thing to watch TV with these block blocks randomly showing up on your screen. It doesn't seem to be limited to this TV model. So.....disappointing. We've struggled with the SmartTV OS on this, it just doesn't work well with AppleTV. In addition, I've had to replace the remote. I was willing to live with that to have a Samsung TV...no more. I replaced my Samsung with a Sony and I love the Android SmartTV OS and the picture quality is better than my Samsung. This I was truly amazed with this. I've had bad luck with LG TVs, now Samsung TVs...but I'm very happy with my Sony.
