Auto dim's and brightens to dark and bright rooms. IDENTIFIES game systems and can power them on from source selection. EXCELLENT smart TV interface. The remote takes some getting used to but get this. The remote will also control the menus in your game systems. it won't power on a nintendo but xbox and ps4 do. I think the sound is incredible but I use 7.1 dolby digital turtle beach head phones for when all goes to sleep. I think Samsung does HDR the best. And the set itself is beautiful. metal finish screen bezel which is very thin and a stand that (while it may get in the way a bit) really makes the TV look awesome. Also super thin and easy to set up. I think it can even identify your cable provider. The smart remote is designed to work with everything. There is a good deal going on this TV. Forget those LG's. They don't even back their products. SPEND THE MONEY. May have to tighten the belt but its sooo worth it.
