Super super cool and very cool and very good for your

I will start by saying the picture quality, refresh rate and overall build quality was nice but buyer beware there’s been loads of these monitors reported to burn out and fail after the warranty period and I was fortunate enough that mine died and would not power on within the first two weeks so I was able to return it. It’s unfortunate that there’s not any options for this wide of a screen by any other manufacturer but this is by far the worst experience I’ve had out of any tech product in my lifetime

Purchased Feb 14 2025 and it arrived Feb 18 of 2025, worked fine on the 4 days of weekend i used it, then comes around next weekend it wouldn't even turn on, called best buy and they said their 14-15 day return policy was over and i was stuck calling samsung for a fix. if it even samsung honor their warranty. I would avoid any samsung 49" monitor and go with Asus or any other brand. and I would honestly not buy any other expensive product from best buy due to their worst return policy window.

I have this monitor at home and at work. My job involves looking at extensively wide spreadsheets. They fit on this screen which makes my workflow more efficient. Paring this screen with Microsoft PowerToys FancyZones allows for a versatile workspace that is much easier than traversing two screens. Setup was also easy and simplistic. I did have to purchase a more heavy duty mounting arm, but it was well worth it. I have viewed movies on this screen as well and it does not disappoint. The only problem I have is one tiny red pixel is burning on the left side of the screen. I just haven't gotten around to putting a return request in, but I will definitely switch it out for the same monitor. While I know the price point is a little high, this screen is a must for office workers that don't even know they need it. I would definitely recommend this monitor to friends and family.

WOW. The resolution is INSANE. Works with everything you need. Takes the place of 3 monitors in one. The size is way larger than expected. I didn't expect my desk to bow under the pressure and weight of the stand but it did. It's still standing but long term - going to have to get a much wider desk to comfortably fit this monitor. It's amazing. Works great for video editing, game play, advertisement development, and even movie night. The curvature takes some getting used to but it's not a big deal and you'll adapt quickly. It's truly one of a kind. Hated it at first, grew to love it more than all the countless connections of 2 and even 3 monitors.

Great for gaming or for work. I was using a 3 monitor setup for work previously and just having 1 ultra wide monitor makes a huge difference.

I have had this monitor for about a month now. I use it more for work so I cannot speak to its gaming capabilities. I converted from a primary laptop monitor with a 27" second monitor. The screen space has improved my efficiency moving through documents and I am experiencing less head movement which was my goal. I got a great price and it is exceeding my expectations. Keep in mind that the device does not have internal speakers so take that into consideration when purchasing. I don't think that is an issue for the gamer.

Easy to ise and set up. When it first arrived, the box was just a little too big, but once I set it up and put it to work it has a great screen and easy set up. I was able to open several different documents and review at the same time with complete clarity.

The HDR and widescreen make games like diablo IV a new experience. I should have upgraded a while ago. The large curved screen is very immersive and I'm getting more work done on my video game production project too.

Just happen to be in my local BestBuy and caught this monitor on sale for $799. I replaced my old setup that was a 32" Samsung as my main and a 24" monitor in portrait mode. Was worried about the limited real-estate on my desk, but the 49" Samsung has actually allowed me to clean up my area. Very happy with the adjustability of the monitor stand and the features. Still learning what I can do with the monitor, but everything has looked amazing from work to gaming. Always wanted this monitor and glad that I was able to get it.

This is my second Samsung curved 49" monitor. This certainly is an upgrade to the first one that started getting retrace lines through it so bad I couldn't even use it anymore. This new one refreshes at a much faster rate although for what I do, it's undetectable. this monitor seems to have more of a tighter curve radius than the last one which is a good thing. Also the stand is much better than on the last one. The last one had to legs that basically parralleled the monitors profile on the desk, taking up room and getting in the way of being able to use the desk top. They have completely redesigned the stand to where it is now just a black steel plate, and although that doesn't sound attractive, it certainly is much better than the old style and a lot more functional.

Great monitor for work or play. Beautiful graphics and shape text. Lots of screen space for opening and working with apps. When it is time to play, this monitor will not disappoint. We wound up getting two of these, one for my home office and one for my husband's home office.

Very happy with this so far. I was nervous that my macbook m1 air would have trouble with running a monitor of this resolution. I bought an 8k compatible USB-C to Displayport cable. Still could not get it to work until I unplugged the usb-c to HDMI/USB adapter on the mac's 2nd thunderbolt port. Now everything works perfectly. It was 100% a limitation of my macbook... not the monitor. Macbook air m1 only supports 1 external monitor, and the mac must have seen the HDMI adapter as a display (even though it was not connectod to an HDMI device). MiniLED should outlast OLED, which is another reason I bought this monitor.

Excellent monitor! I use it for a little bit of everything, i.e. play games, software development, video editing, etc. The monitor is excellent for gaming, and very nice and clear for textual use (i.e. programming for me). What I didn't like initially was apps that would full screen if maximized, and most apps are not usable this way. To make it "behave" like two monitors, I purchased the pro version of "Display Fusion" (does a bunch of other things too), and now I can maximize to the left or right side of the monitor, and turn it off when playing games. Initially I thought the monitor was huge, but now that I'm used to it, I'm considering getting a second one and mounting above this one for a total of "4" virtual monitors (in place of the 2 - 27" monitors I have above this one). While programming, I almost always need to see 3 things at a time, and not having to flip between them is very nice. When I initially got the monitor, it got pretty warm, then I realized that there's a setting in the menu that sets the refresh at 240hz. Way overkill for day to day use. Since I've turned that off, the monitor barely warms up. The base is very nice, it's flat (some monitors have legs that spread out and get in your way), so you can put things on it. Also the height and tilt adjustment works well. Highly recommended if you have the space

I love this monitor… I had a 2 monitor setup and I was thinking about a 3rd in portrait mode for coding, but 3 monitors would take up too much space, so I retired 1 of my monitors and let this handle the multiple screens… and I can attest that this is perfect for me!! I love this monitor the only problem for me is the lack of support by windows os, but I’m sure in time a lot more functionality will be available… if you’re on the fence… get it! :D

Worth every dollar clear picture great frames only downside is no speakers bit i had those from my last monitor
