Should Be Your Top Choice for OLED Gaming Monitor

Incredible monitor, it looks great on the desk and in the room but the picture quality is awesome. Looks great playing all next gen games. It's also great for productivity due to the size - I split the screen with an app for work. Makes spreadsheets a million times easier.

One monitor that's better than two

I bought this to replace a 16:9 27" 4K IPS display since I use my computer for gaming more than work. 32:9 support in games can be sketchy at times (it's really more like 21:9 with the edges stretched), but it's very immersive the way the image curves into your peripheral vision. And I can't emphasize enough how much better the colors and contrast is on OLED! Even though I bought this monitor for gaming, I've been surprised at how useful is been for productivity, too. 49" 32:9 is basically two 27" 16:9 displays side-by-side, and Windows has a feature called snap that makes it easy to allocate certain space to specific windows or apps.

My husband was head over heels for this and wanted it so bad for Christmas for his hobby of gaming! I purchased it a whole month early, pulled off the huge surprise Christmas morning and he has loved it ever since! So happy with it!

Amazing and stunning monitor! The picture is absolutely gorgeous! It’s very responsive and plays games well, that is if the massive resolution is supported. I really didn’t like how Samsung made it feel like a tv where there were different channels and apps. It’s not a plug and play experience but it is easy to setup and then it’s better. Keep in mind, that to get the best experience you have to use display port. HDMI won’t work well with this large screen. My MacBook Pro couldn’t use the resolution unless I buy a type c to DP connector. Overall a great option!

I won't keep you waiting—here's the scoop! This monitor is absolutely fantastic, and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. Once you nail the aspect ratio setup, it's a dream. The only downside is the text clarity up close because of the pixel layout, but that’s a minor in comparison to all the fantasticfeatures. OLED has seriously raised the bar for me. The colors & clarity are superb. Watching YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, or any media on this screen is just amazing, especially when the aspect ratio is just right for the content. The built-in speakers are impressive, and using a remote is super convenient. I never imagined myself using a monitor like this, but the subtle curve won me over—and now I want another one! I’m even eyeing the 57” version. If you're debating whether to get it, just go for it. I’m sure you won’t regret it!

The Colors on this thing are amazing oh my god, I only give this a 4/5 because of the software, I would recommend the model without the software, if you are mainly using it for pc gaming, besides that this monitor is amazing, I recommend using hdmi due to the problems with displayport.

Great picture quality and easy connection. The build in UI is easy to use and the remote that comes with it makes setup easy. Only issue was screen flicker which was easily fixed by correcting GPU settings.

I bought this monitor for both work and play. I used to have 2 27-inch monitors and was annoyed with the gap between both monitors. This 49 inch solves that issue. This works great for work. The screen can be divided into multiple windows to have different applications open. I strongly recommend.

Simple review: Pros: Form Factor Integrates well with a smart home - Alexa routines Beautiful OLED panel Built in speakers Cons: Curve is not curved enough Useless RGB ring in the back of the monitor Silver border is kinda an eyesore, wish there was a black option - although it was only annoying the first 24 hrs , now I don’t really notice Absolutely terrible idea to include Samsung’s TV OS, the UI is clearly not made for that wide a form factor and it’s inconvenient to navigate through. Overall, it’s a good monitor. No con that I listed stopped me from wanting this form factor, I’m a fan of super ultra wide's and this scratches that itch. I do not regret my purchase at all.

Good contrast and colors. 32:9 means dual monitor viewing experience without the dual monitor. 240hz means you aren’t hurting for smoother movement if your GPU can handle it. It’s a bit of a chore for one person to mount on an adjustable display arm, but it is doable with some effort.

Beautiful monitor in both build and in picture quality. OLED cant be beat.... I actually like the remote because I frequently switch between inputs and it's helpful for that on a daily basis. Very thin edges and beautiful overall.

Interesting screen. Very big, though too long. Tried to play WoW though gave up as text was too big. The image was vertically squished and it wasn’t pleasing to look at. Wow doesn’t seem built for 32:9 aspect ratios. 21:9 is way better (34”). I also thought split screen work would be good, but I’d rather two 34” ultra wides side by side. It’s not enough screen real estate even with 49”.

This monitor is so nice. Easy to setup and is a huge upgrade from my previous 2 monitor setup. I am using it for productivity, and I love being able to actually use the center! The oled screen did take a little bit getting used to coming from IPS (made me a little nauseous) but now my eyes are used to it and its great. The real estate on this thing is just amazing.

I've had this monitor for a little over a month and I do love it. I came from the NeoG9 and while it's not as bright, the colors on this monitor are great. I love OLED, I love ultrawide, so it was a no brainer to get this. I can't give it 5 stars though. I just hate they added smart tv functions to this. I think they need to keep that to the monitors that have an aspect ration that would allow comfortable viewing. I like the idea of the remote but there is no actual monitor specific navigation. It feels like Samsung treats this as a TV first instead of a montior. I hope the future iterations leave all this smart stuff to their TV line. Or at least not on their super ultrawides.

I was impressed with this monitor out of the box. I was surprised at how lightweight it is. Switching it to a different mount was very easy. Picture quality is great and response time is fast when playing games. My extreme disappointment in this product comes from the bugginess of window switching/full screen. I've had other Samsung monitor models without this issue. YouTube, for example, is so irritating with this monitor. Usually, when I go full screen it takes sometimes up to 30 seconds to switch. The screen will just go black for a while. Other times the image will never display and I have to either unplug/replug my DisplayPort cord or switch the monitor to a different input and switch it back. This is also an issue when editing videos, switching from an open game window to another window, etc. I can't decide between 3 or 4 stars. The image and speed are amazing. The window-switching issues are just so unbelievably annoying though.
