This monitor in my honest opinion is the jack of all trades and does what every monitor can do but better. I prefer it over multiple monitors and for immersive gaming. The experience you receive with quality of the OLED panel is tremendous. It’s truly something unique. If you want the best of the best, look no further.

This screen is amazing you really have to see this in person to really expirience it. The fact that its oled sealed the deal. Be prepared to change your viewing habits a bit full screen on apps like chrome is not fully supported for such a large aspect ratio. Some games are not meant to be played on 32:9 either. Make sure the games you love to play are before you buy

I’ve had zero problems. It’s an awesome monitor and the gameplay looks amazing.

Very good monitor. Has most of the features you could want. A couple more inputs would be nice and the ambient feature.

The picture quality is a big step up from the previous G9 model. Not worried about burn in. I use this for work and gaming no issues at all. Picture by picture works great. Only wish there was 1 or 2 more hdmi ports. Also the samsung os is terrible very slow. Only reason why its a 4/5

I love it for the multitasking though i did have to exchange it due to screen burn, However i absolutely love the curve and size with what my work needs

The display is so beautiful. Pictures are gorgeous, movies and videos are amazing too. The text issue with oleds is more noticable than I was expecting but tweaking the settings made it more bearable. I probably would have gone with the Neo if I knew about this

This monitor is just amazing! Love it!! I won’t recommend it for design if you want to use th ultra wide,but if you want to have different equipments or windows open for faster work it will be just perfect.Also is the perfect gaming monitor,I will really recommend this one,excellent price.Just keep in mind what does you want to do and if it is for what you want to do.

I am writing this review to share my frustrating experience with two separate high-end monitors purchased from Best Buy in the last year. My most recent purchase, the Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED G9, was a replacement for an LG Ultragear 45" OLED that developed significant burn-in after just four months of careful use. Initially, the Samsung G9 was impressive with its large, high-quality display. However, I soon encountered a persistent issue where the monitor would randomly flicker to a black screen for 3-4 seconds. This occurred unpredictably during all types of use, including gaming, watching videos, and even on a static desktop. I performed extensive troubleshooting, including disabling Game Mode, VRR, and Adaptive Sync, lowering the refresh rate to 60Hz, and trying multiple new cables, but the problem persisted. After four months, I decided to return the monitor, relying on the 4-Year Protection Plan I had purchased. I was disappointed to learn that Best Buy's return policy had apparently changed. I was not offered an immediate exchange or refund. Instead, the only option presented was to ship the monitor for a potential repair, a process that would take a minimum of three weeks. Only after this lengthy repair evaluation could a refund potentially be issued. This resolution was not what I expected when investing in a premium product and an extended protection plan. Other retailers often provide a more streamlined process for defective items. For those considering this monitor, I highly recommend testing it thoroughly within Best Buy's initial 15-day return window. Given my experience with the warranty service, potential buyers may also want to consider purchasing from a retailer with a more flexible and efficient policy for handling defective products.

This is the best ultra wide monitor you can get. The v2 QD-OLED panel really shines here with its deep black and vibrant colors. I'm giving a 4 stars due to the terrible Tenzin OS that is bundled with the monitor. It needs a vast improvement in speed and make it easier to switch inputs.

I have had this monitor for 3 weeks and it is great. The colors are vibrant and screen size is very useful for documents, multi window web browsing, gaming, and general business needs. I upgraded from an CRG9 Samsung 49 inch ultra wide monitor. I play Battlefield, Supreme Commander, and Mech warrior with no issue. The video card i use is the RTX 3090 FE the card has no issue with top level setting in each game.

Amazing monitor. I use it for gaming and for work. OLED is the way to go and it’s bright enough for me. To avoid potential burn in set your screen saver to activate in 5 or even less minutes. If you’re using it at home remove the ask for password after screensaver activates to avoid the hassle of having to log back in every time.

I should have read the reviews and the Samsung forums before purchasing this monitor. There is a problem with the Display Port on these that causes black flickering or the screen to just black out while adaptive sync is on. This monitor says you can run it at 5120x1440 @240hz and you can but you need to buy a Display Port 2.2 cable to get the bandwidth you need to maintain that rate. The Display Port cable that comes with it, is not up to spec. HDMI port works fine with no issues but the picture quality is significantly less than on Display Port. Also it is a TV which I was not aware of or I would have sought out a different model without all the bloat ware. It has a Linux OS built into the TV that controls the TV side of it and it is cumbersome and not necessary. And a FYI if you have to contact Samsung customer service, good luck. I have been waiting for a replacement or to get credit and get conflicting information from all sorts of different Samsung reps and texts and calls everyday. Nobody knows that someone already contacted me and it is becoming a daily nuisance.

Awesome monitor. I waited too long to get an OLED and this one is perfect in every way. Very customizable and the quality is great. I use mine for gaming and it’s been awesome. I highly recommend this monitor.

This monitor is so immersive and the refresh rate for the fast paced gaming. Coming from 27' @60hz 4k monitor I thought it will be a downgrade but I was wrong it was so fantastic!

The curve on this is meant for TV watched at a distance, It is NOT usable as a monitor for a PC where you are close up. You will hurt your neck trying to contort to view the edges with this week curve. The OLED quality is not impressive at all. I was expecting something like the oled screen on cell phones in terms of quality, but it looks pixelated and no better than LCD. The menus are a nightmare. It forces you to click with the remote to get it into monitor mode, and if you don't do that at just the right time, it will power down and not work. It takes forever for the monitor to boot. Not the PC, I mean the monitor. The firmware in it is slow and takes forever to boot. It is loaded with useless bloatwear and pay services. It nags you non-stop to create accounts that will spy on you and take your money. I do not recommend this monitor.

Great monitor if you want a widescreen one.. BUT samsung software is just horrendous.... like the software teak had ADHD or was on drugs. Why put neftlix and TV apps on a 32:9 format screen?? this is a gaming monitor not a TV... also my samsung TV remote keeps turning on/off the monitor.. also it does not automatically sense when i switch between my gaming desktop and work laptop.. have to manually switch.. After 3 months i still have not figured out how to enable HDR is games.. it says HDR Off when i turn on monitor and settings wont let me turn it on..

One of the largest monitors I have encounted, first time I saw it I had to have it, I am not a gamer, but it sure looks excellent when playing a game. I would recommend the product to everyone. Now that my friends have seen it 6 of them have bought one. and yes they are on sell RIGHT NOW!!!
