I saw that quite a few people are having the same issue.

Not a pleasant experience.

Should have returned it while I still could....it randomly turns off, static shows like old TV sometimes, crashes half the time you start a game in full screen.... overall not recommended.

White Screen of Death

It's been sitting on my wall since I bought it,I have all the eco settings set and for it to turn off after a certain time, yet the monitor gave me the white screen and hasn't turned back on for more than 5 seconds.

Died in a month. Samsung service is the worst.

I checked the power supply with a meter and it was dead. I contacted Samsung service, and they sent someone who just took pictures of it and said they would order a new adapter. Weeks later, after rescheduling the appointment to come back and fix it, they finally say they can't get the part. Offered me a refund of store credit to best buy. I can't replace it for the same amount, so I had to order a 3rd party power supply for another 100 bucks. Samsung is the worst. Not my first go around with their terrible service department. I forgot I had sworn off all Samsung junk.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid this monitor

However, this monitor: - requires you to install an app and use your phone - defaults to a weird smart tv menu instead of displaying your device’s video output - comes with typical samsung bloatware But most importantly it has known issues with the screen being stuck on black or in sleep mode. Just search “samsung odyssee black screen” and you will see all you need to. Leave it to Samsung to completely ruin decent hardware.

Absolutely horrible experience!

They did not open it or check it prior to selling it to me. When i got home to set it up upon opening the box i realized it was damaged. I returned to the store the next day to exchange it and they refused. The manager at the store accused me of damaging it and they gave me a corporate 800 number to call. Upon calling them they told me they couldnt do anything because it wasnt an online purchase and that i had to go back to the store. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Not worth the Frustration.

It has been and continues to be a pain in my @$$. When and that's a big WHEN it works, its great. The problem is when gamming and in max resolution at 240Hz it will cut out. Just loses connection. It happens way too frequently. It's frustrating. I use a DP and purchased a better cable. This is not an isolated incident, do a search and you will others with similar issues. It has ONE DP connection and ONE HDMI connection.

Monitor Died

It would not turn on at all after a month of having it. They were out of the monitor so I couldnt exchange it. I liked it but the monitor dying did become concerning.

Had to take it back. I really wanted it to work.

In Samsungs defense I bought an open box product however the remote was missing making it hard to set up. Was able to get mobile app to help but still had trouble with display port and hdmi recognizing devices.

GARBAGE FOR 1800

Samsung doesnt know what the issue is but its a common issue. Returned it, tried the new one still did it... uninstalled my own video drivers thinking maybe thats it....nope....their drivers didnt help their firmwar didnt help. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE

Do not buy this monitor.

Well-documented issue for a year now, Samsung refuses to address. Monitor is limited to 120hz, otherwise the screen will just shut off if you have 240hz/VRR on. Basically unusable. It's still the best 49" ultrawide as far as picture quality is concerned, but sadly, just can't do the advertised 240hz.

Half of the screen had a different color from the

Became my nightmare, what I thought was a configuration problem was in reality a factory problem that affects some units of this monitor. Each half of this monitor had a different color calibration and there was no way to fix it. Sadly I had to return it trhe day after I got it in my hands.
