Exactly what title says. The image and colors are fantastic, but this is a monitor that it programmed like a tv. If you're using it as a monitor like everyone should be then the TV interface is completely unnecessary

The monitor was great. The process and service on the other hand was not. I purchased this monitor as an open box marked excellent. Open box products marked Excellent at Best Buy mean that the product is basically marked as new (Original Box, Manuals, Cords, Stands, etc. are all in included). I got home to set up my monitor, opened the box, and the only that was in it was a jumbled up HDMI cord. I would of been ok with the purchase if it at least included the stand as stated. Unfortunately it did not. Best Buy phone customer support told me to go back up to the store for a replacement open box or the missing parts, or a new monitor if they didn't have the merchandise. I got to the store (which is 1 hour each way from my home) and was told that they didn't have the parts and the only thing they could do was do a return because they can't give me a new monitor as customer service informed and put in the notes of my purchase. The store manager told me that customer phone support doesn't know what they are talking about, and that they were just trying to get me off the phone because they have time quotas to meet. Obviously, I was not enthused with this response. So, I just got the refund. I've been an avid Best Buy shopper since I was a teenager. To be honest this experience (There's more but I don't want to run on anymore), will make me think twice about my purchases from here. I will take my chances with Micro Center or Amazon from here on out.

I've avoided OLEDs because of burn in, but this thing is dreamy. It runs 1440p at 240Hz. Its wonderful for SIMs and gaming but I also use it for work.

As the title says, its overpriced, and a potential fire hazard. The issues... 1. overheates, badly. I needed this for long sessions of multitasking for work, and occasional gaming. However, after maybe an hour i started hearing clicking noises from the monitor. The second i touched the underside of the monitor I had to yank my hand away because of how hot it was. 115 degrees Fahrenheit on the back, front and underside of the monitor. That's worrying for something i paid over a thousand dollars for. 2. The screen warping. The screen began to warp a little after checking the temp and created small bubbles and artifacts to appear all over said screen. 3. Convoluted menue. Its an absolute mess, with sub menues, and "locked features" which require you to have it connected to your wifi, and have an account with samsung. I shouldn't have to have a monitor connected to my internet or have an account to use any sort of features a thousand dollar monitor has. Nor should i be required to concent to terms of service/use, which are very loose in terms of what samsung can see and track what you are doing. 4. "Features." You get an on screen targeting dot, and speakers. The rest of the features are renamed bogstandard brightness, sound, and "gamer mode." Gamer mode, by the way requires you to fiddle with nvidia control pannel to actually give you the full fps it totes as having, or else it locks all games at 60fps. Thanks samsung, I really wanted to spend half an hour tinkering with nvidia control pannel to get the three games I play to run past 60fps. 5. Screen resolution should be better than 5120x1440, especially for the price. It feels lackluster, for a "premium" product. Yes, its OLED, but its usless with having to dial down your brightness to 2 in order to stop it from overheating. Same with the HDR, which is washed out even if you change the settings in windows or the monitors settings. In conclusion, if you want an overpriced and potential fire hazard, just buy one of the RTX 5000 series cards, 5080 and 5070ti are nearly the same price. Jokes aside, its not worth the money, nor the issues and possible need for a return or RMA to samsung.

It is by far probably the best monitor spec wise as Qd oled gen 2 is that much better than gen one. The problem I have with the monitor is the slow laggy Samsung ui. The limited amount of ports especially display port and lack of headphone jack. My screen also randomly goes black for a second than comes back I heard that’s been a problem since the first 49 inch. But when the monitor is at 100 it is gorgeous I’ve been playing cyberpunk and halo and it’s truly next level. Even games that don’t really support this aspect ratio like apex looks stunning. Ik asus has a monitor with this panel but I hope the gen three panels can fix the faults of this one then you’d have a perfect monitor.

The product came as expected, and is actually the same monitor I'm using to write this review. The employees were amazing and even helped me load the monitor into my truck. Overall a great experience.

Only had it for a couple of weeks but no issues so far. Picture quality is great when adjusted correctly. I wish it had a 1000R curve like my old G9 49". No button on the remote to switch input is a minus.

This monitor is gorgeous and great for gaming. Had connection and flickering issues while using display port but once I switched to HDMI the issues stopped and now the experience is so much better. Not all games support the 32:9 aspect but plenty do and there are programs you can get to make games that don't support it support it. If you have the money I highly recommend this monitor for PC gaming. You can also split the screen and treat it like two different displays either for PC and console gaming or even two different PC screens. The OS on the monitor that Samsung added is a little frustrating and slow. I'm not sure why they added it as its more suited for TVs rather than a monitor. If it wasnt for the DP issues and the OS I would give this monitor 5 stars

Great monitor! This has replaced my 28inch 4k monitor for daily driving. I use this only for gaming on my PC. Have not had any issues with it, or any burn in issues that other people have reported. Just over 2 months old at time of review
