Showstopper
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I was prepated for the ultrawide monitor life, turns out I was not. This thing is both a beast and a beauty. Set up was surprisingly easy, even for me solo. Do yourself a favor and do ALL your desk prep beforehand so you aren’t trying to adjust things after the fact.

OLED Gaming Is The Way
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A bit tricky to get setup and get the right colors. But after following some setting guides it absolutely stunning. The embedded speakers are a nice addition I was not expecting. Nice upgrade from a 49" LCD G9

It's been great!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this monitor for almost a month now, and so far, it's been great. It's the first ultrawide monitor I've ever used and it set the bar high. The ultrawide with the HDR/OLED combo is amazing. Playing most videogames that have support for 32:9 feel like watching a movie. One thing that I was worried about was how much it would effect my gaming performance but in all honesty I've noticed little to no impact. Thats coming from a 165hz 1440p monitor. The only real CON I've come across, and its typically the case for any "smart" tv's or monitors, is the boot time for the monitor. From completely off to the point it turns on and auto switches to my pc port my computer is already booted and waits for the monitor to catch up. Its not a deal breaker by any means but is the only miniscule issue ive come across. This monitor is a huge recommendation to anybody looking to upgrade.

Overall Smooth
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor is great to sum it up. Most of the games I play support the ultrawide display. The color creation of the display is amazing and is my favorite part of this display. WD-OLED is better than Lg oled panels

Glorious purpose
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it. it looks great. I give it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 for a couple glaring issues. 1. My monitor sits in the same room as a Samsung TV that I have. Whenever the kids use the remote for the TV it there is no way for this not to happen. You have to block the IR. I feel like they should have two different frequencies for tvs vs monitors used for computers. 2. The controls are a little frustrating. Not horrible but frustrating. Also very few things take advantage of the full resolution but its so much space for multi-tasking and when there is a game that uses its functionality it makes it all worth it

Nice Screen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is bright and sharp. The split screen option is nice, but seems to be limited on the options.

Overpriced and a potential fire hazard.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title says, its overpriced, and a potential fire hazard. The issues... 1. overheates, badly. I needed this for long sessions of multitasking for work, and occasional gaming. However, after maybe an hour i started hearing clicking noises from the monitor. The second i touched the underside of the monitor I had to yank my hand away because of how hot it was. 115 degrees Fahrenheit on the back, front and underside of the monitor. That's worrying for something i paid over a thousand dollars for. 2. The screen warping. The screen began to warp a little after checking the temp and created small bubbles and artifacts to appear all over said screen. 3. Convoluted menue. Its an absolute mess, with sub menues, and "locked features" which require you to have it connected to your wifi, and have an account with samsung. I shouldn't have to have a monitor connected to my internet or have an account to use any sort of features a thousand dollar monitor has. Nor should i be required to concent to terms of service/use, which are very loose in terms of what samsung can see and track what you are doing. 4. "Features." You get an on screen targeting dot, and speakers. The rest of the features are renamed bogstandard brightness, sound, and "gamer mode." Gamer mode, by the way requires you to fiddle with nvidia control pannel to actually give you the full fps it totes as having, or else it locks all games at 60fps. Thanks samsung, I really wanted to spend half an hour tinkering with nvidia control pannel to get the three games I play to run past 60fps. 5. Screen resolution should be better than 5120x1440, especially for the price. It feels lackluster, for a "premium" product. Yes, its OLED, but its usless with having to dial down your brightness to 2 in order to stop it from overheating. Same with the HDR, which is washed out even if you change the settings in windows or the monitors settings. In conclusion, if you want an overpriced and potential fire hazard, just buy one of the RTX 5000 series cards, 5080 and 5070ti are nearly the same price. Jokes aside, its not worth the money, nor the issues and possible need for a return or RMA to samsung.

Great picture, lousy UI / UX
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor is fantastic looking. I upgraded from the Odyssey G9 to the OLED version and everything looks so much better. The thing that really kills the experience with this monitor is that in order to use the multiview and see 2 inputs on the same monitor, which I use for work, you have to be connected to the internet. And their privacy policy says they collect everything about your activities on your monitor, and use content capture recognition to analyze what you are viewing. My work data is confidential and after paying so much for this, they should NOT expect me to have my monitor connected to the internet to use basic features. I don't mind that it has "smart" features, but they really shove it down your throat and I bought this to be a monitor, not a smart TV.

As cool as it is wide
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So vivid, the width fits my desk really well. It's also a smart monitor which is used more often than I expected. During lunch it's just a few clicks on the remote and I'm watching some YouTube.

Crazy good-looking, and screen quality 4K monitor
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor is crazy good-looking, and the screen quality is amazing at 4K (5120 x 1440). Paired with my GTX 4090 Video card on my PC. The games I play look so realistic, crispy, and beautiful that I enjoy playing for hours.

Top Notch Monitor!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was reluctant to switch to a curved monitor, but was ready to move to OLED. This one really shines in a gaming setting, and while not the best option for productivity applications with a lot of text, I can work from home without issues. Highly recommend!
