The only real issue is not all games are built to play on this monitors max resolution settings, so you may not get the full immersive experience you're looking for when gaming.

It doesn’t get bright at all even on maximum settings unless there is only a small bright object on the screen. This also means that if your game has a bright skybox then looking at the sky means everything else gets darkened.

I would not reccommend. Both i received were broke

I will start with the first one i got. The display is truely amazing and has so much depth to it. I was extremely happy with it. About two weeks into using it everyday, it would randomly not be recognized by my pc. I tried plugging it in to my wifes pc and it did the same thing. It bothered me but i had hope, because it would work for hours on end before randomly going black screen. Then about a week after that started, one day it just didnt turn on. No response from the remote or anything. I returned it and got another one sent to my house. This one arrived and i was extremely excited. I set it up and turned it on and it had several dead pixels on the screen. Not super noticable unless you were on a white screen. Then you could see about 5 black dots spread across the screen. I was so disappointed. I continued to use it for a week before i noticed gray static bars popping up in the screen. In just two days the middle of the screen had a gray bar all the way across the screen and wouldnt go away. I returned it and bought a lg ultra wide and have had zero issues since. I actually ordered a second one because i feel confident in lg over samsung. I would not recommend this model. It has many issues and for the price, you should be garunteed the experience that some other people get lucky to have.
