I have purchased this twice, TWICE! When I first bought the monitor the screen went black. Short research showed it was a known issue. Took it back to Best Buy the reps at the Terre Haute, IN location were nothing short of amazing. They returned the monitor offered an exchange but weren’t able to offer it immediately because they don’t carry it in store. I went back to my original monitor and hated it. So I waited patiently for a few months in hopes that the kinks and bugs would be worked out. Bought it again and it worked flawlessly UNTIL IT DIDN’T! 17 months after the purchase it did the same thing. So this time knowing Best Buy couldn’t do anything (outside of the return exchange policy) I contacted Samsung. We did all the trouble shooting told me it was out of warranty and recommended their closest certified Samsung repair shop. Went to the shop, he had it for a few hours came back to discover the repair would be as much as buying a new one! To which I replied “I’m sorry….what?!” His response was a sullen, worn reply of “ unfortunately this is very common I recommend you reach back out to Samsung”. He knew the issue and it wasn’t the first time he had to deal with it. So, still trying to hold on to the dream I could get this monitor fixed I contacted them again. I actually called this time as I wanted to make sure that I got a good try in. We went through the steps of troubleshooting again, still didn’t work. I asked if they could make a one time exception and they said no. Tried speaking to a supervisor because we all know the agents are only allowed to do so much ( I worked over the phone before and nothing is worse than having your hands tied without being able to do anything.) This was in vain, a last ditch effort of trying to get this awesome monitor fixed, no luck. I can say without a doubt unless it’s free or close to free I won’t be purchasing a Samsung product again! Unfortunately I more than likely will never purchase Samsung again with this experience. Which is sad because I always felt the made fairly good products ( they all have their ups and downs)

The smart features are annoying otherwise great monitor

The Samsung Odyssey G9 boasts a stunning QD-OLED display, but its multi-view functionality is frustrating. While it handles dual laptop inputs well, it fails to remember the configuration after waking the computers, requiring tedious manual setup each time. Furthermore, the remote's interference with my Samsung TV and the inclusion of unnecessary TV apps detract from the overall experience. Despite these issues, the display quality is compelling enough to keep, though the monitor is far more cumbersome than expected.

Probably the best monitor that I have ever bought. Flight SIM on this monitor is awesome!

This monitor is absolutely a beast i had another ultra wide but nothing compared to this one color and blacks are perfect for gaming

Amazing monitor its my second one in this size and style. Amazing display easy hook up and looks great! Its awesome for work or gaming

It is a very nice monitor but you MUST have a dark room to use it in. It doesn’t get bright at all even on maximum settings unless there is only a small bright object on the screen. This also means that if your game has a bright skybox then looking at the sky means everything else gets darkened.

Very good monitor; it adapts very well to perform many tasks at the same time. Sometimes, for games like LOL, the sound goes to the laptop instead of the monitor, and you have to go in and out to fit in well.

The 32:9 OLED display combined with 240HZ and ultra fast response time makes this the best gaming monitor one could currently buy!

Good product. but kinda concern of the heat in the middle part of the monitor. but other than that. this monitor is a beast.

Everything about this monitor is amazing but i think it was defective. The monitor was extremely hot. The middle third of the monitor was around 120 degrees after 1 hour of use. The first and last third were 98 degrees. After using it for an hour the room would get really hot. Went to best buy and the display model was not as hot. And the LG monitors are cool to the touch.

I absolutely love it. Great picture!!!! Still haven’t put it in “casino mode” lol but dont need to either.

Expensive but 1 of them best monitors you can buy.

Quality on this is great! Took awhile for me to connect with my Macbook but the quality of picture is amazing!
