    I have had this monitor for about 1 week so far and I am pleased with how it performa. I read some of the lower rated reviews and personally did not experience any of what was mentioned. I would give a 5 but instead I am giving a 3 due to samsung customer service. If you buy samsung products you better hope you never have to call in their customer service because its terrible. I called in with a question about certain cables and compatibility and they had absolutely no clue. Wasted an hour of my time talking in circles with a rep who knew nothing at all.

    Do not buy this, it's absolute junk. Samsung bloated this monitor with TV software and practically useless Bluetooth. It runs slow, and will give you headaches. Search the forums yourself if you dont believe me. Sadly, I purchased this and now I cannot return it. Just reached out to Samsung service and waiting for an appointment to get mine repaired as it won't turn on anymore. When it works, it's absolutely beautiful.

    This monitor would be amazing if it wasn't for the one fatal flaw it has. You need to have it in gaming mode to reach 240 HZ. When it's in gaming mode and the screen switches between fullscreen and not (for example, when entering a loading screen in a video game or exiting a game) The display goes black. Turning off the monitor doesn't fix it. You either have to physically unplug the monitor or physically unplug the display port or HDMI cable and plug it back in. The monitor works fine when it's out of gaming mode, but then it's capped at 120hz. Seems silly to spend this kind of money on a display when it won't do the things it's suppose to do. After reading a bunch about it, people were saying it's software related on the samsung forums as samsung sent people out to replace control boards and displays on them and it still did it. Super annoying. I had to return this because of it.

    Great Monitor. It is a little difficult to set up for office purposes and takes a little research to figure out how to split the screen into quadrants. Also, easy box setting software for splitting screen into quadrants doesn't work with Mac computers

    I'll start this by stating that the monitor I had was running firmware version 2000.2. I set up the monitor and plugged it into My PC using the included DisplayPort cable and along I went using it for gaming and occasionally using Multiview to use it as 2 displays. I did not appreciate that in order to use Multiview I had to sign into a Samsung account. But that is the least of my problems with this monitor. After a couple days I started experiencing random black screens and had to unplug the cable and plug it back in or reset my graphics driver to get the image to reappear when I was opening or closing games and during game play. After going to Google and searching the issue I've come to find that everyone says that it's a problem with DisplayPort on this model and to change to HDMI and use a Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable to solve it. The problem with that suggestion is that, at least on my monitor, it did not solve the problem. The only difference between them was that with HDMI the screen would randomly go black but the picture would come back without having to do anything. While it was at least useable in that state I found it completely unacceptable for such an expensive item to just fail to work correctly. It is worth noting that while the monitor is in Multiview the problem does not occur. That is probably because game mode and all the other stuff is turned off. However if you play anything full screen on this monitor and use Game Mode with VRR, G-sync, HDR, etc. you're going to have random black screens. A suggestion that I did come across was to return this monitor and buy the LS49CG932SNXZA because according to some people that one does not have any of these problems. But I wasn't willing to take the chance on another Monitor from Samsung. Pros: remote to control monitor, panel's looked amazing. Cons: everything else. TL;DR To use Multiview you must sign into a Samsung account or it won't let you. Random black screens on both DisplayPort and HDMI with included Display port cable and a Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable. Buy the "dumb" version of this monitor with no remote, LS49CG932SNXZA, and possibly skip the headache.
