    This is a fantastic monitor, however the screen goes black for 2-3 seconds randomly. This is a known problem with this monitor.

    When it works, it works fantastic. I was really excited about this monitor but I’ve had nothing but trouble with it since I’ve got it. I have had trouble with the monitor displaying content, disconnecting from the computer, and black screen. When issues like this don’t happen, it is an absolutely stunning monitor I’m working to get it fixed with Samsung but for an $1800 monitor I’m very disappointed with the amount of trouble I’ve had with this.

    Unfixable Random blackout Issue

    would be 5 stars if it didint have a very previlent problem of blacking out randomly and not detecting the Display port untill you reset it. (Samsung knows this problem is common and has not fixed it) unless you turn off game mode... which effectively drops the refersh rate by half and lowers the resolution to a normal 2k monitor.... defeats the purpose entirely of buying this monitor.

    Do not get this monitor! The flickering and black screen issues are a real thing. I tried numerous fixes and the flickering just got worst. I have the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, so my graphics card is powerful enough. Luckily, I'm still in my return window so I'll be returning it today, but it's still frustrating as I had to drive an hour to get it and spend numerous hours on my setup. Don't waste your time with this monitor. Samsung missed on this one.

    Dont waste your money

    Let me preface this with the fact that I hate leaving poor reviews... but if I can save anyone else the heartache and inconvenience it'll be worth it: As with every other Samsung product I have ever owned, this product presents well but fails to perform. I bought one monitor, the screen started flashing black like it was turning off every few minutes. I figured this was a problem with my GPU or cables, but replaced the cables (Not spending $1000+ to upgrade a 3080TI to a 4xxx variant) and did not get an improvement. Finally swapped out the monitor yesterday once the screen started artifacting, turned off, and never turned back on again. Now I am on monitor #2 and after a night of superb gaming video quality, this morning the flashing has started again... so I expect this screen to die in the next few days like the last one did. To all who are considering this screen, buy something else. Google the issue for this model and see how common the issue is. Save yourself the heartache and give your money to someone else. This is a shame... the display is beautiful when it actually works.

    Disappointed with Monitor Quality and Support Expe

    I am incredibly frustrated after spending an entire day trying to troubleshoot the display settings on the monitor I purchased. The quality is terrible, and it’s unusable as an extended monitor for work, which was the sole reason I bought it. The experience with Geek Squad and Advanced Support was equally disappointing. Despite spending hours on remote support, no one could identify or resolve the issue. Their lack of knowledge and effort was disheartening. To make matters worse, I now have to take time off work to visit the store and request a refund. This is a $1,000 monitor, and I expected far better quality and service for such a significant purchase. Sadly, no one I interacted with at Best Buy seemed to care about the inconvenience or the defective product. This has been a deeply disappointing experience, and I’m left questioning the value of shopping with Best Buy in the future. I hope steps are taken to improve both the quality of products and the level of customer support provided.

    First of all, why does a *monitor* need such a complex OS. Literally all it does is accept a video feed. Any normal TV for the last 25 years has made it easy to switch between sources, but it is 100% a PITA to do this on their system. It's unbelievable bloated and making for a dual input source config a huge pain. All bc they decided it needed to be a "smart" monitor. COMPLETELY USELESS FUNCTIONALITY THAT MAKES MY LIFE DIFFICULT.

    Got a defective monitor that wouldn't switch to any inputs when connected and when I wanted to exchange it for the same exact one they couldn't do it because I used a promotional coupon. All they could do is refund what I paid and I lost my $400 off coupon I had for a Samsung product. Terrible experience.

    White screen of death shortly after warranty expires. Common problem with Samsung's. You'll see a firmware update and then shortly after this happens. Capitalist pigs.
