Black screen

The remote doesnt help and it locks out everything on my pc on that screen until I manually pull the plug. It seems to only happen during full screen gaming, but thats still annoying since I bought it for gaming. It also seems that this is a semi-common issue after reading more reviews. For the price of this monitor, I cannot recommend this to anyone. DONT RISK IT.

Don’t buy open box deals or make sure open the box

I was so disappointed because they don’t check returned items at all before they sell it again and saying excellent condition open box…

Good and bad, but kinda good, mostly bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Flawless screen and great features, really solid monitor if you just let it sit there and do absolutely nothing. The Odyssey G9s seem to keep having black screen issues (even in the MIDDLE OF A GAME) and the whole monitor hub is not intuitive. Speakers connected through bluetooth sometimes randomly disconnect, many different visual bugs even just watching on Amazon prime video, monitor seems to overheat. This is a fantastic monitor if only Samsung could fix these issues. There are firmware updates that release for the monitor so that would be a good place to start. If you’re in the market, keep an eye on the return policy and get you a monitor that is worth the price tag. Good luck.

Let me say without doubt this is the poorest monitor I have owned since then. Black screen , try to install two monitors, black screen. Google G95sc and see all the issues with this monitor, Before you buy this boat anchor. In defense, when it works it is beautiful screen, when it works.

Overheating issue

Do not buy

Upon unboxing this monitor, I noticed micro scratches on the screen, but they didn't show up when the screen was backlit, so I decided to live with it. This was a mistake, Little did I know you can so much as look at these QD-oled glossy screens and they will scratch. As the days went on more and more scratches became noticable and at and a particular point half the screen is covered in micro scratches. If you dare contact Samsung support they will say that you physically damaged the monitor and that it is no longer under warranty for even hardware issues, such as a broken displayport (as it is broken and mine and is a common complaint online about this monitor). You can read other reviews here about the flickering screen image when you choose to use displayport. Do not buy this, it is not worth the money. Buy a WOLED or other monitor that is not Samsung manufactured or qd-oled technology.

Quality Issues

On day 21 the screen started to flicker when working, requiring unplugging and plugging back in. This would last about two hours and it would start flickering again. Tried changing cables, socks, and computers to no avail. I just do not have luck with Samsung products.

Love the Mnitor!

Expensive Computer Required

I had to return it because I couldn't get anywhere near the resolution required to power this. Geek Squad told me I would need a new power supply, CPU, graphics card, etc etc etc. if you have a low to mid range computer like most people, this won't work for you. I gave a 2nd star because it may be great with a great computer... I'll never know.

Disappointing Monitor

I had it for about a year and a half before the screen went completely black. The monitor was used under normal circumstances in my home office. No humidity, air conditioned, well kept. It’s unacceptable that a product in this price range fails in under 24 months. Very disappointing. I have 2 Samsung products in my house that have served me well for over 10 years. I was hoping this one would be held to the same standard.
