Absolutely horrible experience!

They did not open it or check it prior to selling it to me. When i got home to set it up upon opening the box i realized it was damaged. I returned to the store the next day to exchange it and they refused. The manager at the store accused me of damaging it and they gave me a corporate 800 number to call. Upon calling them they told me they couldnt do anything because it wasnt an online purchase and that i had to go back to the store. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Well-documented issue for a year now, Samsung refuses to address. Monitor is limited to 120hz, otherwise the screen will just shut off if you have 240hz/VRR on. Basically unusable. It's still the best 49" ultrawide as far as picture quality is concerned, but sadly, just can't do the advertised 240hz.

Not that great in my opinion.

The screen was too stretch but not from the hight. So pictures kinda show half way. I did not like it at all so I returned it. And only has 1 HDMI why???

Black screens and frustration

Any slight adjustment in software settings or just a loading screen can make it decide to go black and who knows if it will ever come back on. It cannot handle 240hz + variable refresh rate + HDR, the specifications are misleading. I'm never buying a samsung product again its so disappointingly bad.

Do not buy

At one point they didnt have the part so it was down for over 2 months. I just recently got it repair through thier provider and it went down within a month but i just passed the 1 year warranty so not im stuck with a dead $1700 monitor with a “oh well” from samsung

It would not cover the cost of shipping your monitor to us, but does cover the cost of shipping the monitor back to you. You are responsible for shipping fees to Samsung Customer Service; we recommend using a trackable shipping service like UPS.

GARBAGE FOR 1800

Samsung doesnt know what the issue is but its a common issue. Returned it, tried the new one still did it... uninstalled my own video drivers thinking maybe thats it....nope....their drivers didnt help their firmwar didnt help. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE

Monitor Died

It would not turn on at all after a month of having it. They were out of the monitor so I couldnt exchange it. I liked it but the monitor dying did become concerning.

Stay clear of this monitor by all means. Feel there should be a class-action on this monitor. Bought it for $1800 and it just stopped working.. Pathetic to say the least. Should have went with the LG

Had to take it back. I really wanted it to work.

In Samsungs defense I bought an open box product however the remote was missing making it hard to set up. Was able to get mobile app to help but still had trouble with display port and hdmi recognizing devices.

Half of the screen had a different color from the

Became my nightmare, what I thought was a configuration problem was in reality a factory problem that affects some units of this monitor. Each half of this monitor had a different color calibration and there was no way to fix it. Sadly I had to return it trhe day after I got it in my hands.

Oof…

Signal not detected from PC randomly occurs after power cycling or restarting the PC. Kept fighting with this issue constantly. Ended up taking it back and ultimately ended up with a better monitor(LG ultrawide 39” curved).

AWEFULL

Did not work with the Apple computer nor that well with a very high end pc. The monitor shuts off on its own. Had geek squad come to the home to set up the system multiple times. Still does not work. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR! IT WILL CAUSE YOU LOTS OF HEADACHES!

Great monitor- until it isn't.

I had the item for less than 24 hours and it has already developed a color shift between two sides of the screen, split down the middle. It's distracting beyond belief and to the point where returning is the only option. Buyer beware; this isn't the only report of this, nor of other issues. Samsung's monitors aren't great, but in terms of OLED ultrawides there's very few pickings.

Cheaply Built

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return it since almost all Best Buy employees told me the OLED has issues with SCREEN BURN unlike QLED. The numbers of HDMI port is limited to one only. Also you have to carry this big adapter for power supply. The frame is made of a cheap plastic material. The control in the back looks like a toy. Samsung didn't do a good job on this model. I figured if I have to spend $1050 for this unit , I can buy a nice 55 Inch OLED TV for the same price with bigger screen for video editing and a lot more input options.

not worst the money
