    I purchased this monitor in store. They did not open it or check it prior to selling it to me. When i got home to set it up upon opening the box i realized it was damaged. I returned to the store the next day to exchange it and they refused. The manager at the store accused me of damaging it and they gave me a corporate 800 number to call. Upon calling them they told me they couldnt do anything because it wasnt an online purchase and that i had to go back to the store. Completely unacceptable customer service.

    I purchased this monitor last Oct. It has been and continues to be a pain in my @$$. When and that's a big WHEN it works, its great. The problem is when gamming and in max resolution at 240Hz it will cut out. Just loses connection. It happens way too frequently. It's frustrating. I use a DP and purchased a better cable. This is not an isolated incident, do a search and you will others with similar issues. It has ONE DP connection and ONE HDMI connection.

    The monitor died after only a few months of owning it. I work from home and now I must wait who knows how many days or weeks for Samsung to get my warranty repair scheduled.

    Loved this at first but after 6 months the panel died. I got it replaced by Samsung then another 6 months down the road it died again. Would not recommend this monitor.

    Ehhh it was okay but definitely not for me. The screen was too stretch but not from the hight. So pictures kinda show half way. I did not like it at all so I returned it. And only has 1 HDMI why???

    Monitor Died

    I bought this monitor on Nov 23rd and it died on me. It would not turn on at all after a month of having it. They were out of the monitor so I couldnt exchange it. I liked it but the monitor dying did become concerning.

    Cannot run 240hz since latest update, on either HDMI or DP. Well-documented issue for a year now, Samsung refuses to address. Monitor is limited to 120hz, otherwise the screen will just shut off if you have 240hz/VRR on. Basically unusable. It's still the best 49" ultrawide as far as picture quality is concerned, but sadly, just can't do the advertised 240hz.

    Two monitors same issue Screen goes black and won't come back on unless i unplug my cables.... Samsung doesnt know what the issue is but its a common issue. Returned it, tried the new one still did it... uninstalled my own video drivers thinking maybe thats it....nope....their drivers didnt help their firmwar didnt help. DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE

    Not easy to use. In Samsungs defense I bought an open box product however the remote was missing making it hard to set up. Was able to get mobile app to help but still had trouble with display port and hdmi recognizing devices.

    In the past year of owning this monitor ive had to have aamsung repair it 4 times. At one point they didnt have the part so it was down for over 2 months. I just recently got it repair through thier provider and it went down within a month but i just passed the 1 year warranty so not im stuck with a dead $1700 monitor with a “oh well” from samsung

    Black screens and frustration

    It's an unreliable waste of money. Any slight adjustment in software settings or just a loading screen can make it decide to go black and who knows if it will ever come back on. It cannot handle 240hz + variable refresh rate + HDR, the specifications are misleading. I'm never buying a samsung product again its so disappointingly bad.

    Half of the screen had a different color from the

    I was dreaming about this for a while and then I decided to buy it. Became my nightmare, what I thought was a configuration problem was in reality a factory problem that affects some units of this monitor. Each half of this monitor had a different color calibration and there was no way to fix it. Sadly I had to return it trhe day after I got it in my hands.

    Had less than a year, and screen is black but can hear it's still on when using the remote. Stay clear of this monitor by all means. Feel there should be a class-action on this monitor. Bought it for $1800 and it just stopped working.. Pathetic to say the least. Should have went with the LG

    I returned three times this monitor. Always flickering and image disappearing for seconds. It is impossible to be working because the screen goes black .

    I brought two of these monitors. Absolute disaster. Did not work with the Apple computer nor that well with a very high end pc. The monitor shuts off on its own. Had geek squad come to the home to set up the system multiple times. Still does not work. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR! IT WILL CAUSE YOU LOTS OF HEADACHES!

    This thing is a pile of doggy doo. Overheating panel. Signal not detected from PC randomly occurs after power cycling or restarting the PC. Kept fighting with this issue constantly. Ended up taking it back and ultimately ended up with a better monitor(LG ultrawide 39” curved).

    Cheaply Built

    I had to return it since almost all Best Buy employees told me the OLED has issues with SCREEN BURN unlike QLED. The numbers of HDMI port is limited to one only. Also you have to carry this big adapter for power supply. The frame is made of a cheap plastic material. The control in the back looks like a toy. Samsung didn't do a good job on this model. I figured if I have to spend $1050 for this unit , I can buy a nice 55 Inch OLED TV for the same price with bigger screen for video editing and a lot more input options.
