Once you lay your eyes on 49 inches of OLED goodness, you cannot go back. This monitor has the brains of a Samsung Smart TV and is very user friendly. 10/10

OLED Heaven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always loved OLED TVs and have been waiting until a gaming monitor with OLED would meet my expectations and oh-wow-ee this is near perfect. It took me a bit to make sure windows 11 HDR looked perfect but once I did it made my original odyssey g9 go bye-bye. The only downside would be it cant get as bright as other displays but that is a tradeoff completely worth it for me.

Very beautiful OLED

Its lighter, and easier to plug cables into the monitor. To use 240hz yiu need DP 2.1 from a compatible video card. Some games still dont use the full screen either but since i bought this at 1099.99 though during early black friday. It was well worth the purchase.

Fantastic Ultrawide!

I am running it on a mac studio m1 and m2 and a m1 macbook pro. All work perfectly using a scaled resolution and using the display port on my CalDigit TB3 dock.

Pray You Don't Get a Dud.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't walk, RUN away from this monitor. Don't get me wrong, the display itself is fantastic. I was blown away. What started to sour the experience was the bloatware TV features they built into this COMPUTER MONITOR. It kept wanting me to watch Samsung live TV, the button had dedicated netflix buttons and others, and the OS operating all of this was slow and made it difficult to switch between computers/display as I had to navigate menus 2-3 layers deep when on other monitors its a simple click of a button. But the REAL issue here is their support. My monitor died after 10 months. Just one day wouldn't turn on. Contacted support, no problem, we'll exchange it. They let me know it could take a max of 24 days to arrange the final delivery, but usually its within 10 days. Alright, fine. That was 35 days ago. I have contacted them several times asking the status (because I get NO UPDATES from them). Each time they go "oh there was an issue, we will investigate and call you back in 24-48 hours", and guess what they NEVER do? My most recent call with them they said the trucking company will received the monitor tomorrow. I pointed out last week when I called that I was told the trucking company had received it over a week ago and it was their fault for not contacting me. They swore up and down, hey the last agent was wrong, they didn't know what they were doing, trust us bro they'll get it tomorrow and then within SEVEN days call me to schedule a delivery which could be another 2 weeks then past that. I decided I wanted a refund instead and after them insisting it would be quicker to get the exchange and me explaining I can't take them at their word, They notified me I should have a refund in approximately 14 days going off their high estimates. I let them know a few years ago I bought a Dell monitor and ran into an issue and asked them to guess how long the turn around time was. They guessed 2 weeks, maybe 1. I revealed to them from the moment of opening the support ticket it took them 3 days to have a new monitor on my doorstep. I let them know THATS service. Its been so long now that I had to buy another monitor, so I bought an alienware, as my support experience was so great with dell (even though in general I dislike dell and their products). Oh, and the warranty on that Alienware is 3 years as opposed to this monitors 1. TLDR: Great monitor, but the WORST support you will ever encounter. I am never buying another Samsung product.

TOO MANY ISSUES

Now I already returned it three times and I got a replacement every time but it is never working ! Always flickering so many times and also the screen goes several times black. Image disappear between 5 or 7 seconds and then come back. Average this is happening between 5 times in a minute . I am really tired dealing with this because I can’t work with this monitor. I read many different things on internet and this a problem that Samsung is having with this monitor. So, I am going to return this monitor again and I will go with a different one because I spent more than a month going back and forth with this problem and not able to work normally. Maybe Samsung can answer this big issue.

Pure theft of my money by the manager of Best Buy.

I asked him, "what is your return policy?"... his answer, "two weeks, no questions asked". Then he followed it up by, "today is tax free day also". So I agreed to try it. Got it home and unpacked it. My programs were losing reference to the programmed buttons. The buttons that are on the left of the screen are now stretched further left but the programmed hot button area does not follow them. So in order to press menu buttons in my programs I have to search for the invisible hot area about six inches to the right of the visible button graphic. Also, unable to get to 240hz. Stuck at 60hz. Internet articles say I need to buy this fancy wire to get it to work. I'm not buying more cables just to get this thing to work. The menus were a disaster as well. And Samsung added all the streaming apps that you have to hurdle to get to your computer monitor display. Awful. So I tried to return it today. But first, back to the day I bought it. At the completion of the sale, the checkout clerk says to me, "oh, you get a free 100.00 gift card today with your purchase" and reached out to hand me the gift car. I asked him if I had to pay for it and he said, "no it's free". Well, today, when I returned the monitor, the manager refunded me the total that I paid but then charged me $100.00 for the gift card on my return receipt. So they literally stole $100.00 from me during the return. I asked him why and his excuse was that "I feel you bro, but our system won't let me refund that card... you'll have to call corporate to see what they say". So Best Buy is running a rip off scam where they hand you a "free gift card" but then they charge you for it if you return this screen. They are using the word "free" to take money from you during returns. I've bought a $4600.00 TV from them; a $3800.00 TV from them; and many other small items over the years and this is the theft ring they are running at the Pensacola Best Buy. The return receipt reads, "Free Gift Card".... yet they charged me for it. So I had to call my credit card company to refuse the charge. The screen was heavy so I parked at the front loading areas when I went in and off to the side. I was on the phone with my bank in that same spot and that same manager called the Pensacola Police on me to kick me off the property... after they ran this theft scam on me. I didn't agree to any purchase program regarding this gift card and I didn't authorize a 100.00 charge to my credit card during return. I was told, "no questions asked" and during the return this manager asked me every question under the sun about the function of the display. This is a theft ring. If Best Buy offers you a gift card turn it down. I'll be looking to shop somewhere else in the future. This is how you loose your loyal business in a small town like Pensacola. If they had simply stated the conditions of that gift card during checkout I could have said, "no not interested" and left the monitory there and walked out. Instead they're running this scam on the people of Pensacola.

Heartbreaker

If you receive a problem free monitor you will be thrilled. However, in my case, day one I had some blinking. I did some online research only to find common/other issues. By day four the problem got worse. I had to turn the monitor on and off each time I exited a game or app just to get back to desk top. I can still hear the game running but had a black screen. Windows home or Ctl alt delete would force me to the tv app. Sadly I returned it. As I now do not have confidence in Samsung I ordered the MSI 49 inch

Samsung does not stand behind their product

I have intermittent issues with ports not working and a key feature not working as well. I have spent countless hours with samsungs support team. I have opened 5 service tickets which they ignore. The one time I got someone to come out, they brought the wrong part so I had to cancel that service ticket and open a new one rather than just update the concern. Buy anything else. Buy from any other company, because if you have any issues, you will not get a warranty repair from Samsung.
