I had an old Vizio sound bar prior to buying this combo and there is a world of difference. The only con I can possibly think of is how massive the sound bar and subwoofer are, but that just comes down to convenience if you are loving a lot. Obviously when it comes to speakers the bigger the better and I promise you can’t go wrong with this!

Sometimes when resuming a paused show, it will produce a loud "crack" for a split second. Also, there is a reflective sticker behind the grill to the right of the left speaker--if the sun hits it, it's annoying.

I am almost always able to just use the Samsung TVs remote, as the sound bar turns on and off automatically with the TV. The product is also very light weight, and looks attractive. I did a lot of searching to try to find something less expensive, but in the end I am glad that I purchased this because of the sound quality.

To improve your audio experience, the HW-Q800B features a wide range of sound modes and settings allowing you to fine-tune the sound to your liking.
Pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote allows you to select the desired sound effect. You can select Spacefit sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, Night mode, Sync, Surround speaker mode, and Virtual. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.

I have to say I am very pleased with the quality of sound. I have very high cathedral ceilings and the sound is very immersive compared to my previous setup. With my last setup I could not hear voices or sounds very well from my den to kitchen. With this setup I can hear EVERYTHING in every room downstairs in my house with clarity. Even my upstairs only has a slight degradation of clarity. Very pleased!

Super impressed and loving everything about it. Its completly easy to set up. Just take it out of the box, plug it in and you are all set up and ready to blast the sound right through your windows
