    Just passed 2 yrs and its acting up

    Yout hink it last more than 2 yrs, but the subwoofer makes a popping noise now during bass hits, and bluetooth speakers have a hissing sound just as loud as the sound it passes...gonna see what they can "do for me"..

    I'm on my second one. First one we could turn up to 100 and still be able to talk a bit loud and hear each other and this is in a very small living room. Returned it for another and still have issues with wireless sub and rear speakers not connecting to the soundbar. Even trying to manually connect them rarely works. If I could have given this zero stars I would have! I even contacted Samsung and they basically said it is what it is, doesn't always connect automatically. Live with it. I say for the amount of money I paid (this was not a cheap item), I shouldn't have to live with it!! Total BS.

    This sound bar was horrible. On with customer support for problem after problem. They couldn’t fix and gave me a refund.

    Speaker system which appears to be first class but not as I expected. Some of the movies where could not hear with higher sound not unless you enjoy base. Base can be too loud if not lowered.

    I have never had this soundbar connect to the tv or apple tv properly. it is just such a headache in every way possible.

    I had the sound system deliver to my house open up the box missing the remote and all the power cords called Best Buy and they said only thing I can do is either bring it to the store or They can give me 10% off what the heck did I want 10% off when I had no power cords or remote 60 pounds little old me have to take it back to the store will not purchase again too heavy to be lifting they were no help

    So So sound system.....installed this in my house, and was not impressed with the overall sound. Returned it for the Bose wireless system, and couldn't be happier :)

    I spend so much money on this sound bar and for nothing. Worst sound bar I've ever owned. The rear speakers and sub disconnect constantly. To re pair them is a very difficult and the process may pair one and not both. The sound is ok when all are working. But just ok, it's definitely not impressive. If I could return, I would. Unfortunately I had to go away and missed my opportunity.

      A common misunderstanding is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

    The sound quality is comparable to the much cheaper Visio surround sound system. Spend your money on a Bose or sonos.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-K950 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos Technology. I am sorry to hear that you did not experience the full potential of this system.

      A possible cause is that the rear speakers may appear disengaged because the Soundbar may be in stereo mode (no surround effect) when playing non-Atmos content.

      Here are a few things you can try to improve the rear speaker performance:
      1) Connect the Soundbar to a network and upgrade the Soundbar to the latest firmware version.
      2) Check that Surround Mode is set to ON.
      3) Different effect modes (Standard > Music > Clear voice > Sports > Movie > Night mode) affect the levels of the surround speakers. Try a different effect to compensate for the source and room acoustics.
      4) Try toggling the DRC feature. Dynamic Range Control is a feature that affects the volume levels on Dolby Digital sources.
      5) Depending on the mode, the level of each speaker (including the Surround speakers) can be controlled individually.

    I bought this system to complement my KS8000 Samsung TV. Very disappointed. I changed the HDMI hock ups many times to get Dolby Atmos. I actually got it to work once and it was fantastic. Since then can’t get it to work again. Bought new 2.1 HDMI cables and still no Atmos. I paid a lot for a 5.1 sound bar that should be 7.1. Waste of money!!!!!

    I purchased this to go w/ my Samsung TV -- This has been completely useless -- I've been on the phone w/ Tech support more than I've been able to enjoy the soundbar. Tech support is so useless... I might end up returning the sound bar if I can't get this to finally work... I won't buy this again.

    This device does not offer room correction, has a Miriam of interference issues. Arc audio pass through does not include Atmos even though this system is touted as Atmos. Arc fails and will become unavailable after the return period is over. Audio quality is good however this is only when system actually functions.
