Bought a 75” Samsung TV and the BB sales agent had me listen to the sound bar as an add on. It was on sale and I didn’t want to be disappointed if the TV speakers weren’t good enough to watch movies and videos on. What the heck?! Bought it and not disappointed! Sure knowing the specs would’ve been a plus. Or you could take this for a test drive at the store to see flr yourself.

The setup was easy, just follow the directions. What a difference in sound in comparison to the built in speaker on our Samsung TV. We hear every little detail especially in tv commercials that we didn't before. The subwoofer does its job and it feels as if you are in a movie theater. We highly recommend this product.

The system adds crisp highs and nice bass respone on the lower end. It doesn't shake you out of your seat, but we did not expect it to. It will, however deliver some pretty good bass at higher volumes. We were looking for a nice overall improved sound suitable for young kids and this set up provides just that and a little more.

Thank you for your review of the Samsung HW-Q60R.
The subwoofer is responsible for low frequency sounds, like the rumbles of an explosion in an action movie or the bass guitar and drum in your favorite music. It adds rich bass tones and deepens the sound quality you hear, but since the subwoofer only plays low tones, it will be silent when low frequency sounds are not in use. If you'd like louder (or softer) bass from your subwoofer, you can adjust the level by toggling the WOOFER button on the soundbar remote, and then adjusting the level from -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button.
