The sound is clear and not overly muddled in the mid-range. The subwoofer is adjustable so you don't get that college-dorm booming. It's a nice balanced bass response which is there but not overpowering.

If you are looking for room shaking bass, this is not your sound bar. You will want to go up a model to get the bigger sub. That being said, the bass effect that is there definitely adds to the depth of sound that was missing and the sound bar simulated surround sound very well. I was impressed thinking I could hear sounds coming from behind me.

Sound bar worked great! We used hdmi connector to listed to our lps! We used the Bluetooth to listen to music apps from our Mac We used optical cable for tv. When we got new tv we got the additional surround speakers!
