It is definitely much better to have than just the speakers for the associated TV. But it seems inconsistent while streaming- sometimes having it on +20 is more than sufficient, but other times you have to turn it up to over +50 to hear low conversations. There are different modes that are meant to help for different volume types, but that, too, seems inconsistent. Overall, glad we bought it because the sound is much better than the TV speakers and when it is performing well, the sound can be pretty awesome. Just wish it was a little more consistent or there were more direction on the settings without having to pay for extra help from the Geek Squad.

Note I went from the tv’s manufacturing sound to this sound bar so I am not comparing this to any other sound bar. Nonetheless, it’s great and would recommend to anyone.

I purchased this soundbar on the recommendation of a Best Buy associate to specifically enhance the dialog. I am very pleased with this unit, and the dialog seems much easier to understand.

This Bar has technology incorporated to separate out and improve the voice portion of the sound for much better clarity. There is a central channel or speaker which makes listening to the voice portion of the movie much more pleasant.

So I settled in with this one. And I like it. It adds enough “depth” on its own to anything I’ll be watching, but paired with Samsung wireless surround speakers, it does the job properly.
