I am also going to buy the rear speakers for my 65" Q8 tv.

The sub makes a huuuuuge difference I have to turn down the bass for movies because it sounds a bit muffled. Music is loud and clear , tweeters distort at higher volumes. The “atmos” feature is not at all what I thought it would be. I have it wired to a TCL 5 series through the arc port but sometimes I won’t get any sound at all. Who knows maybe I need a better cable? Overall I like it and I’m happy with my purchase BUT I bought it as an open box, I would not recommend it if you’re paying full price.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Samsung HW-Q60R.
To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
