Disappointment

We love our Samsung products and expected greatness from this soundbar. Our 6 year old Samsung soundbar that was half the price has way more punch to it. The bass in this soundbar system is seriously lacking and the "surround" feel is just not there. Also, the sound cuts out randomly at times. Sometimes just for a second or two. Other times it just goes completely mute and the only way to fix it is to turn the soundbar off and then back on. Apparently this is a well known issue to which Samsung has no real fix. To me this is completely unacceptable for a $500 piece of sound equipment. Will be returning for a refund and going back to our old bar.

The sound bar goes off /stops working (no sound) despite it being on and connected. Even if I turn volume up no sound. I switch it off and wait for some hours and turn it on, it does it again after some time. ( so frustrating) I have a cheaper sound bar I bought 4 years ago still works fine! No issues . I thought I was upgrading to Samsung ‘superior’ sound bar how wrong!! I haven’t enjoyed it as much as I thought I would. I find myself switching to my cheap sound bar now and again and it’s really frustrating.
