Posted .Hi TXAG,
I am very sorry to see that you are having connection issues between the Samsung HW-Q60T soundbar and TV. If you are connecting wirelessly via Bluetooth, please follow these steps:
1) Press the PAIR button on the remote to enter BT PAIRING mode
- “BT” changes to “BT PAIRING” in a few seconds automatically or changes to “BT READY” if there is a connect record.
- When “BT READY” appears, press and hold the (Mic On/Off) button on the top panel of the Soundbar for more than 5 seconds to display “BT PAIRING”.
2) Select Bluetooth mode on the Samsung TV: Home > Settings (gear button on remote) > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List > [AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T (Bluetooth))
3) Select “[AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T” from the list on TV’s screen. An available Soundbar is indicated with “Need Pairing” or “Paired” on the TV’s Bluetooth device list. To connect the Samsung TV to the Soundbar, select the message, and then establish a connection.
- When the Samsung TV is connected, [TV Name] > “BT” appears on the Soundbar’s front display
4) After you have connected the Soundbar to your Samsung TV the first time, use the “BT READY” mode to reconnect.
If you have an existing Soundbar (e.g., [AV] Samsung Soundbar Q60T) on the list of speakers on the Samsung TV, delete it. Then repeat steps 1 through 3.

When the best have fallen below the mark
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very difficult to adjust the settings. All you get are a lot or bass and treble OR a lot of bass an treble. Don't get me wrong, I am technology savvy and know how to download an instruction book, but when you have neighbors complaining.....this probably isn't the best device to have in an apartment building. Do a lot of research before buying this product. Only giving it 2-stars because I am a Samsung fan, but maybe not anymore!?

Posted .Hi NEWK,
Thank you for your review of this Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar. I am very sorry that you are not completely happy with the bass performance.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.

Not so good
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not so great. The first one that was shipped was a second hand one that was porned off as new. The second one I had to pickup at the store cause there wasn't a more online. Now for how it proforms, the subwoofer makes a annoying low tone when no base is emitted when using the HDMI input, and yes I have tried multiple HDMI cables with the same results.

Only for certain Samsung TVs (a bad experience)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Had a Best Buy in home consultation where I purchased many items to include a 70 in TV and this sound bar. I would have hoped the person coming to the house would provide professional recommendations for a sound bar that worked well with the TV (an LG) that I purchased mid Nov and had installed with the sound bar late November 2020. However, he recommended this Samsung sound bar. Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound as good as an older/less expensive sound bar I have on another TV. After doing some research, last night, I’ve now found that this sound bar is optimized for use with certain Samsung TVs and doesn’t use some of its functions with Other brands. A disappointing experience with the sound bar and the Best Buy consolidation.

I am very sorry to see that you are not completely happy with the clarity of the sound you are experiencing.
You may want to try Adaptive Sound. Press the Sound Mode button on your remote control and select Adaptive Sound. In Adaptive Sound mode, the soundbar analyzes the content and volume to optimize the audio rendering resulting in clearer dialogue.
Try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-Q60T Soundbar. As long as your soundbar is connected to your TV with either an optical cable or HDMI via ARC, you can control the volume and mute the soundbar using your Samsung TV's remote.
1) Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings, select Sound, and then select Sound Output on your Samsung TV.
2) Select your Samsung soundbar, and then select Close. Now you can use your TV remote to adjust volume and mute the soundbar. The soundbar should also turn on and off with the TV.
By default, Samsung TV remotes should be able to control Samsung soundbars. If it isn't working, be sure the soundbar is powered on, and then press and hold the WOOFER button up until "ON - TV REMOTE" appears on the display (about 5 seconds). Next, you'll need to choose between connecting with an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
