This samsung soundbar sounds so much better at home. Easy to set up and sync to my phone. The sound is out of this world.

Now, I purchased this sound bar on "Black Friday", so I did purchase it at a sale price that I thought was a fair price. Allegedly, it over a $400 sound bar, does it sound $400 worth?? But, it is definitely an improvement over the stock speakers that are on my Samsung TV. Thake into consideration, this is in no way surround sound, but, it gives you a good bass sound & makes watching a movie more enjoyable. Would I recommend purchasing it, YES, but, wait for a sale.

Very good, but not super bass. If you are huge into really bass stuff, I'd pass on it, if you want great sound for movies and music played by musical instruments, its fantastic! Only other issue is the BT doesn't automatically connect when you turn on, you always have to click it, where old / other units/brands will auto connect. Other than, its a very solid deal for the price and I love how well the ARC works on it.

For the price it does the job. If you want $1,500 soundbar, go for it but this gives great sound at affordable pricing.

I knew I wanted a new Samsung soundbar to go with my new Samsung 4k TV because I was so happy with how well my much older Samsung 4k TV and Samsung soundbar worked together. So, when I got in my new soundbar, I was not disappointed. The HDMI ARC function is great! Which is good because the newer models ship with HDMI cables and not optical audio cables. They say you get better sound using the HDMI method, and I'm not sure if it's that or just how much better this soundbar is than my old one, but it's great. Love the sleek looking metal mesh on the top now. Much better than the fabric on the older model. Only 2 complaints- the subwoofer would look nicer with metal mesh on it instead of the fabric that collects a bit of dust overtime (maybe it needs to be fabric to function properly, I honestly don't know); once when my phone was connected via BT overnight (listen to music almost every night on it since the sound is so rich), I got an amber alert that stopped the soundbar from functioning to the point where I had to unplug its power supply to get it to stop (woke me up, and after about 15 seconds, I tried to mute the soundbar, then adjust the volume, then change the source, then turn it off before finally unplugging it). This last one could have just been a fluke but it was weird.

The sound bar was easy to set up. It has great sound and has lots of options as far as quality sound.

Can’t believe I took so long to purchase a soundbar. We purchased our 55” Samsung 4K LED at bestbuy back in 2016 and the quality was descent. I really wanted to setup a Harmon Kardon receiver DTS with all Polk audio speakers we have stored in the garage but my wife hates having all the speakers and wires in the living room. After careful research finally decided to go with this Samsung HW-Q60T. It was tough because it had tons of good reviews and a couple of bad ones as well. I followed my gut and went for it, but first things first. The five speakers on the soundbar are tweeter size so I knew it wasn’t going to be super loud or heavy on bass, however where it lacks those features it makes up on clarity and rich sound when streaming or watching your favorite movie on DVD/blu-ray/or 4K. Have you seen negative reviews about lack of bass? Me too, for this when I connected the sub woofer I installed it behind our couch and set it at +2 (max is +6) and it is perfect! It activates when it needs to, an explosion, movie score, gun shots, you name it. Keep in mind your main speakers will be the speakers on the sound bar which you can also control its Treble and Bass +/- 6. So far have had 1 full day of use and I am sure I will discover more ways to tweak it. When we watch TV we leave the sound on Adaptive sound mode. When watching movies I like it on DTS. I read a couple of reviews of not being able to see the screen on the bar. I have a Samsung TV so I control mostly everything from the sound setting on the TV since we use the ARC feature, it has an expert mode. If you don’t will most likely have to rely on the speaker remote which is super easy as well. Good luck hope this helps. Don’t think about it to much. Enjoy

exceeded my expectations you have to hear it to believe it very costly for a speaker however worth every penny :)
